Emeli Sande teams up with Illangelo for new collaboration

Emeli Sande has teamed up with Illangelo for a new collaboration.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for another artist or Sande’s upcoming third studio collection.

The Canadian record producer and songwriter – real name Carlo Montagnese – recently produced and co-wrote “Holy War,” “In Common” and “Back to Life” for Alicia Keys alongside regular collaborator Billy Walsh.

Illangelo’s other credits include Somewhere Else’s “Move Together,” Drake’s “Crew Love”, Tinashe’s “Party Favors,” Elijah Blake’s “The Other Side,” Wiz Khalifa’s “Remember You,” The Weeknd’s “Twenty Eight,” Majid Jordan’s “Learn from Each Other,” and Travis Scott’s “Pray 4 Love.”

Meanwhile, Sande’s songwriting resume boasts works with Mary J. Blige (“Pick Me Up”), Rihanna (“Half of Me”), Katy Perry (“It Takes Two”), Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Alesha Dixon (“Radio”), Tanika (“Runaway”), Gorgon City (“Imagination”) and Antonique Smith (“All We Really Have is Now”).

She has also collaborated with producers Naughty Boy, Chris Loco, Mojam, TMS, Stargate, Mac & Phil, Rodney Jerkins, Crada, Mason “MdL” Levy, Espionage, Tre Jean-Marie, Al Shux, Knox Brown, Di Genius, Toby Gad, Benny Blanco, Chris Braide, MNEK, Jim Eliot, iSHi, Mike Spencer, Rick Nowels, Steve Mac, Dave Tozer, Fraser T. Smith, Jerry Duplessis, and Craze & Hoax.

Sande’s sophomore album “Long Live the Angels” – featuring singles “Hurts,” “Garden,” “Breathing Underwater” and “Highs And Lows” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.
