Charlie Puth has recorded new music with Rami Yacoub.
The Swedish music producer and songwriter is known for his works with Nicki Minaj (“Starships”), Ariana Grande (“One Last Time”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Don’t Hold Your Breath”) and Labrinth (“Treatment”).
Yacoub’s credits also include DNCE’s “Body Moves,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Your Type,” Demi Lovato’s “Stars,” The Vamps’ “Rest Your Love,” Madonna’s “Addicted,” and The Fray’s “Break Your Plans.”
Meanwhile, Puth is expected to release his sophomore studio collection later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.
The follow-up to 2016’s “One Track Mind” reportedly delivers productions from Pharrell Williams (Justin Timberlake), Toby Gad (Colbie Caillat), Jason Evigan (Rachel Platten), Cirkut (The Weeknd) and Ammo (Jason Derulo).
On the songwriting front, Puth has teamed up with Babyface (Alicia Keys), Jacob Kasher (Bebe Rexha), Ammar Malik (Ed Sheeran), Eskeerdo (Rihanna), Ilsey Juber (Mariah Carey) and Sean Douglas (Enrique Iglesias).
Fans of Yacoub’s songwriting and production works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the upcoming releases by Hailee Steinfeld [Republic], Jasmine Thompson [Atlantic] and Selena Gomez [Interscope].
