Mary J. Blige has liberated her new single online.
“U + Me (Love Lesson)” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
The track was co-written by Charles “Prince Charlez” Hinshaw, whose other credits include Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Beyonce’s “Ring Off,” Usher’s “More,” Jessica Mauboy’s “Beautiful,” and GRACE’s “Hell of a Girl.”
Production duties “U + Me (Love Lesson)” were handled by Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge, who is also responsible for Kandace Springs’ “Love Got in the Way,” Sevyn’s “Shoulda Been There,” Ne-Yo’s “Congratulations,” K. Michelle’s “Love ‘Em All,” and Trey Songz’s “What’s Best for You.”
As mentioned in earlier posts, Blige will release her next studio collection “Strength of a Woman” – featuring previous promotional single “Thick of It” – later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.
The follow-up to 2014’s “The London Sessions” delivers additional alliances with Darhyl “DJ” Camper (Mariah Carey), Jazmine Sullivan (Fantasia Barrino), Kanye West (Janet Jackson) and Hit-Boy (Kelly Rowland).
