Naughty Boy has hinted at a new collaboration with RAYE.
“We can throw shapes together @Raye,” The British record producer and songwriter – real name Shahid Khan – tweeted.
Naughty Boy’s current single “Should’ve Been Me” – featuring guest vocals from Kyla and Popcaan – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
His upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Hotel Cabana,” is expected to arrive later this year via Virgin EMI Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Bibi Bourelly, Marsha Ambrosius, Sam Romans, Kiesza, Mike Posner, Ella Eyre, DNCE, Miguel, Ava Lily, Sam Romans, MNEK, and Tamera Foster.
Meanwhile, RAYE is currently working on her debut album under Polydor Records with Chris Loco, Fred Cox, Joel Compass, DJ Dahi, Francis “Eg” White, Justin Parker, Oren Yoel, Two Inch Punch, Illangelo, Jimmy Napes, Wayne Wilkins, Arnthor Birgisson, Jonny Lattimer, Felix Snow, and TMS.
On the songwriting front, the “You Don’t Know Me” star has reportedly contributed to the next projects by Ellie Goulding [Polydor], Rudimental [Major Tom’s Music], Rita Ora [Atlantic] Era Istrefi [Ultra Records].
RAYE’s previous songwriting credits include Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty” [Atlantic], Snakehips’ “Don’t Leave” [Sony Music UK], M.O.’s “Not in Love” [Interscope] and Blonde’s “All Cried Out” [Polydor].
