Jason Derulo has released his new single online.
“Swalla” – featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.
The track was co-written by Jacob “JKash” Kasher (Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth), Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis (Becky G, Jennifer Lopez) and the song’s producer Eric “Ricky Reed” Frederic (Kesha, Meghan Trainor).
As mentioned in earlier posts, Derulo’s fifth studio collection will arrive later this year via Beluga Heights / Warner Brothers Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Usher), Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph (Rihanna), Jussi “Jussifer” Ilmari (Jojo) and NOVA WAV (Chloe x Halle).
On the songwriting front, Derulo has worked with Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd (K. Michelle), Scott Harris (The Chainsmokers), Justin Tranter (DNCE), Verse Simmonds (Keyshia Cole) and Julia Michaels (Britney Spears).
Derulo’s last studio collection, 2015’s “Everything is 4,” peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Want to Want Me,” “Cheyenne,” “Try Me” and “Get Ugly.”
