Camila Cabello has enlisted Billy Walsh for her upcoming debut album.
The Canadian songwriter, fashion stylist, and designer is known for co-writing “Holy War,” “In Common” and “Back to Life” for Alicia Keys alongside regular collaborator Carlo “Illangelo” Montagnese.
Walsh’s songwriting resume boasts further works with Elijah Blake (“Live Till We Die”), The Weeknd (“Die for You”), Majid Jordan (“Something About You”), Post Malone (“I Fall Apart”) and Somewhere Else (“Move Together”).
Mewanwhile, Cabello is expected to release her debut solo studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Rihanna), Frank Dukes (Kanye West), Ammar Malik (Selena Gomez), Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis) and Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran).
Cabello’s current collaboration with Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat, “Love Incredible,” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
