Ariana Grande has enlisted Pharrell Williams for her upcoming fourth album.
Williams recently produced the original motion picture soundtrack for “Hidden Figures,” which featured guest appearances from Lalah Hathway (“Surrender”), Mary J. Blige (“Mirage”), Alicia Keys (“Apple”) and Janelle Monae (“Jalapeno”).
The American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, and film producer’s resume boasts further works with Beyonce (“Work it Out”), Toni Braxton (“Hit the Freeway”), Kelly Rowland (“Feet to the Fire”), Frank Ocean (“Pink + White”), Solange (“I Decided”), Ed Sheeran (“Sing”), Kylie Minogue (“I Was Gonna Cancel”), Usher (“Twisted”) and Mariah Carey (“Say Something”).
Meanwhile, Grande is expected to release her next studio collection – featuring additional alliances with Taylor Parks and Tommy Brown – later this year via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.
The still-untitled project follows 2016’s “Dangerous Woman,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Focus,” “Side to Side,” “Into You” and “Everyday.”
Fans of Williams’ production and songwriting works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the next projects by Camila Cabello, Justin Timberlake, Charlie Puth, Liam Payne, Christina Aguilera, Cris Cab, and N*E*R*D.
