Julia Michaels has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The American singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Issues” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (March 07, 2016).

The track was co-written by Justin Tranter, who previously teamed up with Michaels on singles performed by other major artists including Justin Bieber (“Sorry”), Britney Spears (“Slumber Party”), Gwen Stefani (“Make Me Like You”), Nick Jonas (“Close”), John Legend (“What You Do to Me”), Pia Mia (“Touch”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Love Myself”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Run”), Fifth Harmony (“Dope”) and Linkin Park (“Heavy”).

Production duties on “Issues” were collectively handled Stargate and Benny Blanco, who are also responsible for Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” Jessie J’s “Thunder,” Lea Michele’s “Cannonball,” Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love,” Vance Joy’s “Straight Into Your Arms,” Katy Perry’s “It Takes Two,” and Fifth Harmony’s “All in My Head (Flex).”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Michaels will release her debut studio project later this year via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with Steve Mac (Anne-Marie, Ed Sheeran), Jason Evigan (Rachel Platten, Charlie Puth), Ammar Malik (Ariana Grande, James Blunt), Stephan Moccio (Maty Noyes, Jon Bellion) and Mattman & Robin (Dagny, Taylor Swift).

Fans of Michaels’ songwriting works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the next projects by Tinashe, Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Derulo, Years & Years, Jasmine Thompson, Ella Henderson, Zara Larsson, Jessie Ware, Rita Ora, Lea Michele, Ellie Goulding, and Snakehips.
