Craig David has reunited with Ed Drewett for his upcoming album.
The British singer/songwriter previously co-wrote “Couldn’t Be Mine” for David alongside the song’s producer Tre Jean-Marie. The track appears on 2016’s “Following My Intuition,” which topped the UK Albums Chart.
Drewett’s songwriting resume boasts further works with One Direction (“Best Song Ever”), Little Mix (“Black Magic”), The Vamps (“Cheater”), Olly Murs (“Dear Darling”), Fleur East (“Gold Watch”), Stooshe (“Kiss Chase”), Sinead Harnett (“Do it Anyway”), Ben Haenow (“Greatest Mistake”), SG Lewis (“All Night”), Madeon (“OK”) and The Wanted (“Glad You Came”).
In addition Jean-Marie, Drewett has also collaborated with top producers including Future Cut, Steve Mac, TMS, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Ash Howes, Two Inch Punch, Fred Ball, Mojam Music, Julian Bunetta, Red Triangle, Fraser T. Smith, Electric, Jim Eliot, Naughty Boy, Steve Robson, Jim Duguid, Cutfather, Jonas Jeberg, Laconic, John Henry Ryan, and The Runners.
Meanwhile, David is expected to release his next studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Insanity Records.
Other musicians expected to appear on the still-untitled project are Dave Tozer (John Legend), Talay Riley (Nick Jonas), Martin Solveig (Whinnie Williams), DAECOLM (Mario Barrett), White N3rd (Daley), Max McElligott (John Newman), Sam Romans (Alicia Keys) and Diztortion (Kelly Clarkson).
