Miley Cyrus has announced the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Malibu” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming album and will release it on May 11 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Malibu” were handled by American record producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Oren Yoel, who previously teamed up with Cyrus on “Adore You,” “BB Talk,” “Space Bootz” and “I Get So Scared.”

Other notable credits by Yoel include Asher Roth’s “Another One Down,” Parachute’s “Can’t Help,” Stacy Barthe’s “Extraordinary Love,” Rozzi Crane’s “Painkiller,” Eliza Doolittle’s “No Man Can,” PSSY PWR’s “Rodeo,” Tori Kelly’s “Art of Letting You Go,” and Keri Hilson’s “Isn’t It Always.”

Cyrus’ next studio collection follows 2015’s “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” and 2013’s “Bangerz,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned international singles “We Don’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball.”
