Kara Marni teases new collaboration with MNEK

Kara Marni has teased a new collaboration with MNEK.

“Wrote a BOP with ma new bestie @mnek today,” the British singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Monday (May 15, 2017).

Recent songwriting/production credits by MNEK (born Uzoechi Emenike) include Dua Lipa’s “IDGAF,” Becky Hill’s “Rude Love,” Zara Larsson’s “What They Say,” Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” Tom Aspaul’s “Messy,” Little Mix’s “Touch,” Jojo’s “Good Thing,” Craig David’s “Change My Love,” Matoma’s “False Alarm,” JKAY’s “Danger,” and Sub Focus’ “Don’t You Feel It.”

His extensive resume boasts additional works with fellow musicians including Diplo, Jin Jin, Dimitri Tikovoi, Kamille, Amish “ADP” Patel, Grace Barker, Max McElligott, Caroline Ailin, Tre Jean-Marie, Noonie Bao, Jean Baptiste-Kouame, Kara DioGuardi, Mike Spencer, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Youthonix, Diane Warren, Philip Plested, Laura Dockrill, Josh Record, and TMS.

Meanwhile, Marni is expected to release her debut project – featuring lead single “No Ordinary Love” – later this year via First Access Entertainment.

Other producers expected to appear on the still-untitled collection are Mac & Phil (Emeli Sande), GRADES (Jess Glynne), Fred Cox (RAYE), Laconic (Cover Drive), The Rascals (Ariana Grande), Joel Compass (Tinashe), All About She (Sasha Keable) and Chris Loco (Rita Ora).
