Alicia Keys hits the studio with Daheala

Alicia Keys has recorded new music with DaHeala.

The Canadian record producer and songwriter, born Jason Quenneville, is known for his works with The Weeknd (“Starboy”), Halsey (“Not Afraid Anymore”), Belly (“Die Alone”), Mia Martina (“Chasing the Rush”), Future (“Low Life”), Rick Ross (“In Vein”), Alyssa Reid (“The Game”) and Massari (“So Long”).

DaHeala’s resume boasts additional works with fellow musicians including Illangelo, Savan Kotecha, DannyBoyStyles, Max Martin, Ben Billions, Ali Payami, Doc McKinney, Metro Boomin’, Stephan Moccio, Mike Dean, CIRKUT, LunchMoney Lewis, Moon Willis, Nasri Atweh, and Adam Messinger.

Meanwhile, Keys is expected to release her next project – featuring the Kaytranada-produced “Sweet Fucking Love” – later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection follows 2016’s “Here,” which spawned contributions from Swizz Beatz (“Illusion of Bliss”), Tayla Parx (“In Common”), Jimmy Napes (“Hallelujah”), Billy Walsh (“Holy War”), Emeli Sande (“Kill Your Mama”), Pharrell Williams (“Work on It”) and Tish Hyman (“Blended Family”).
