Craig David reunites with Fraser T. Smith for new album

Craig David has reunited with Fraser T. Smith for his upcoming seventh album.

Smith previously co-wrote and / or produced “Hot Stuff (Let’s Dance),” “6 of 1 Thing,” “She’s on Fire,” and “Kinda Girl for Me,” taken from 2007’s “Trust Me,” as well as “World Filled with Love” and “Four Times a Lady,” taken from 2002’s “Slicker Than Your Average.”

Other credits by the multi Grammy nominated musician include Stormzy’s “Big for Your Boots,” Ray BLK’s “Baby Girlz,” Cosmo Pyke’s “Social Sites,” DJ Snake’s “Future, Pt. 2,” Fleur East’s “Like That,” Sam Smith’s “Drowning Shadows,” Ellie Goulding’s “Hearts Without Chains,” Dakota’s “Long Hot Summer,” Gavin James’ “Bitter Pill,” Grace’s “Boyfriend Jeans,” and Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.”

Smith’s extensive resume boasts additional works with songwriters Andrea Martin, Shelly Peiken, Karen Poole, Nina Woodford-Wells, Rachel “Maiday” Moulden, Frankie Storm, Ina Wroldsen, Bonnie McKee, Kelly Sheehan, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Rachel Furner, Livvi Franc, Heather Bright, Diana Gordon, Kasia Livingston, and Nicole “Coco” Morier.

Meanwhile, David is expected to release his next studio collection, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Following My Intuition,” later this year via Sony Music Entertainment UK in partnership with Speakerbox / Insanity Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Tre Jean-Marie, Negin Djafari, Diztortion, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Nineteen85, Caroline Ailin, MNEK, Talay Riley, Dave Tozer, Ed Drewett, Martin Solveig, Sam Dew, and Max McElligott.
