New Zealand singer-songwriter Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor, professionally known as Lorde, has released her new promotional single online.
“Sober” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
Production duties on “Perfect Places” were handled by Lorde and Jack Antonoff alongside James “Malay” Ho, whose other credits include Frank Ocean’s “Nikes,” Alessia Cara’s “Wild Things,” Zayn Malik’s “It’s You,” Stacy Barthe’s “Lonely Disco Ball,” Jarryd James’ “Sure Love,” and Tori Kelly’s “Talk.”
As mentioned in earlier posts, Lorde’s upcoming sophomore album “Melodrama” – featuring previous singles “Liability,” “Green Light” and “Perfect Places” – will arrive on June 16 via Lava Records and Republic Records.
The highly-anticipated collection follows 2013’s “Pure Heroine,” which peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Royals,” “Tennis Court” and “Court.”
