Mary J. Blige has announced the details for her new single.
The American R&B singer/songwriter christened “Set Me Free” as the next promotional cut from her latest album “Strength of a Woman,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.
The Darhyl “DJ” Camper-produced track was co-written by Jazmine Sullivan alongside Prince Charlez, whose other credits include K. Michelle’s “Talk to God,” Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Grace’s “Hell of a Girl,” Trey Songz’s “Song Goes Off,” Beyonce’s “Ring Off,” and Zedd & Liam Payne’s “Get Low.”
Featuring previous singles “Thick of It” and the Kanye West-assisted “Love Yourself,” the follow-up to 2015’s “The London Sessions” peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
