Anne-Marie has announced the details for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Heavy” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album and will release it on September 22 via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written with Iain James, whose resume boasts additional works with Little Mix (“Shout Out to My Ex”), Olly Murs (“Unpredictable”), Lights (“Giants”), Craig David (“Officially Yours”), Fleur East (“Breakfast”), Major Myjah (“Trouble”) and Sinead Harnett (“She Ain’t Me”).

Production duties on “Heavy” were handled by The Invisible Men (aka Jonathan Shave, George Astasio and Jason Pebworth), who are also responsible for Bebe Rexha’s “No Broken Hearts,” Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” Jonas Blue’s “By Your Side,” Sigala’s “Say You Do,” and Britney Spears’ “Pretty Girls.”

Anne-Marie’s first studio collection – featuring previous singles “Ciao Adios” and “Alarm” – is expected to arrive later this year via Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).
