The track was co-written and produced by Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh, who previously teamed up with BANKS on “Drowning” and “Fuck with Myself,” taken from 2014’s “Goddess” and 2016’s “The Altar,” respectively.
Other notable credits by Al Shux include Kelela’s “Take Me Apart,” Will Heard’s “I Better Love You,” Taya’s “Deeper,” Erik Hassle’s “If Your Man Only Knew,” Lianne La Havas’ “What You Don’t Do,” Kwabs’ “Saved,” Ella Henderson’s “Mirror Man,” and Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind.”
Meanwhile, Banks (real name Jillian Rose Banks) is expected to release her third studio collection – featuring the Jack Antonoff-produced “Crowded Places” – in 2018 via Universal Music Group / Harvest Records.
