Canadian singer/songwriter Alessia Caracciolo, professionally known as Alessia Cara, has enlisted Ricky Reed for a new collaboration.

Ricky Reed (born Eric Frederic) recently produced and co-wrote “Who I Am” for Maroon 5 alongside Adam Levine, Ammar Malik, Teddy Geiger, Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis, John “JRY” Ryan, and Jacob “JKash” Kasher.

Other notable songwriting/production credits by Ricky Reed include Kesha’s “Bastards,” Bomba Estereo’s “Internacionales,” Meghan Trainor’s “No,” Dej Loaf’s “Changes,” Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts,” Jason Derulo’s “Get Ugly,” Halsey’s “Bad at Love,” Mary Lambert’s “Secrets,” and Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$.”

Meanwhile, Cara is expected to release her sophomore studio collection early next year via Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings.

The still-untitled collection follows 2015’s “Know-It-All,” which peaked to number nine on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Here,” “Wild Things,” and “Scars to Your Beautiful.”
