American singer, songwriter, and actress Sabrina Carpenter has drafted Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Norwegian songwriting and production duo StarGate for a new collaboration.

StarGate recently co-wrote and produced “Body Talk,” taken from Canadian R&B duo Majid Jordan’s sophomore studio collection under OVO Music and Warner Brothers Records, “The Space Between.”

Other songwriting and production credits by StarGate include Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Daya’s “New,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” Rachel Platten’s “Broken Glass,” OneRepublic’s “No Vacancy,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Bebe Rexha’s “I Got Time,” and Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty.”

Meanwhile, Carpenter is expected to release her third studio collection – featuring the Leland-penned / Jonas Jeberg-produced lead single “Why” – early next year via Universal Music Group / Hollywood Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Evolution” reportedly boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Jonas Blue (Craig David), Jin Jin (Yebba Smith), Bastian Langebaek (Jess Glynne), Nate Campany (Tori Kelly), JHart (Kelsea Ballerini) and The Monsters & Strangerz (Carly Rae Jepsen).
