Stacy Barthe has teased a new collaboration with Janelle Monae.

“When your fellow unicorn summons you to come out and play… #janellemonae,” the American singer/songwriter posted to her Instagram profile on Tuesday (November 28, 2017).

Barthe’s songwriting resume boasts works with Alicia Keys (“Limitedless”), Melanie Fiona (“Like I Love You”), Britney Spears (“Blur”), Katy Perry (“Hummingbird Heartbeat”), Miley Cyrus (“Adore You”), Bridget Kelly (“Carry My Cross”), Rihanna (“Cheers”), Lauriana Mae (“Flaws & All”), Marsha Ambrosius (“Honey Pot”) and Teyana Taylor (“Outta My League”).

Her debut album “Becoming,” released in 2015 via John Legend’s label Home School Records in partnership with Motown Records, spawned contributions from fellow musicians including Malay (“War IV Love”), Oren Yoel (“In My Head”), Claude Kelly (“Me Versus Me”), Darhyl “DJ” Camper (“Flawed Beautiful Creatures”) and Benny Cassette (“Live for Today”).

Monae, on the other hand, is expected to release her upcoming studio collection early next year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Fred Cox (Tori Kelly), Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran), Jonny Lattimer (Raye), Ina Wroldsen (Calvin Harris), Adriano Buffone (Jessie Ware), Tayla Parx (Christina Aguilera), Fabienne Holloway (Grace Cartner) and Jin Jin (Yebba Smith).
