Arlissa premieres music video for Jonas Blue-assisted single “Hearts Ain’t Gonna Lie”

Arlissa has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Hearts Ain’t Gonna Lie” was posted the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Thursday (January 18, 2018).

Produced by Jonas Blue; “Hearts Ain’t Gonna” was co-written by Arlissa and Senai Tedros alongside Jonathan Clare and James Tadgell of UK songwriting/production duo All About She.

Arlissa’s upcoming project – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from Lostboy, Pip Kembo, Martin Sjolie, and Patrick Patrikious – is expected to arrive later this year via Positiva / Virgin EMI Records.

Charli XCX reunites with Stargate for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Charlotte Aitchison, professionally known as Charli XCX, has reunited with Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Stargate for a new collaboration.

Having previously collaborated with XCX on her own songs “Break the Rules,” “After the Afterparty” and “Track 10,” Stargate have also worked with XCX songs performed by other artists including Camila Cabello (“OMG”), Selena Gomez (“Same Old Love”) and James Blunt (“If I Find Love Again”).

Stargate’s songwriting and production resume boasts additional works with Tinashe (“No Drama”), Sam Smith (“Too Good at Goodbyes”), Daya (“New”), Rachel Platten (“Broken Glass”), Majid Jordan (“Body Talk”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Bebe Rexha (“I Got Time”) and OneRepublic (“No Vacancy”).

Meanwhile, XCX’s upcoming project – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from Fred Ball, Noonie Bao, Andrew Watt, Nate Campany, and Ali Tamposi – is expected to arrive later this year via Atlantic Records (US) and Asylum Records (UK).

Her current mixtape “Pop 2” – featuring lead promotional single “Out of My Head” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Justin Timberlake reunites with The Neptunes for new promotional single “Supplies”

American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor Justin Timberlake has reunited with Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes for his new promotional single “Supplies, out on January 19 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The songwriting/production duo previously teamed up with Timberlake on international hit singles “Senorita,” “Like I Love You” and “Rock Your Body,” taken from the artist’s debut studio collection “Justified,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

On Timberlake’s upcoming fifth album “Man of the Woods,” The Neptunes have co-written and co-produced eight additional tracks in the shape of “Midnight Summer Jam,” “Man of the Woods,” “Higher, Higher,” “Wave,” “Flannel,” “Montana,” “Breeze Off the Pond,” and “Livin Off the Land.”

Other musicians backing Timberlake on the highly-anticipated album are Timbaland (Sam Smith, Nelly Furtado), James Fauntleroy (Bruno Mars, Majid Jordan), Danja (Whitney Houston, Keri Hilson), Eric Hudson (Chris Brown, Mariah Carey), Rob Knox (Prince Royce, Leona Lewis), J-Roc (Beyonce, Kat Dahlia) and Larrance Dopson (Ella Mai, Kali Uchis).

Lennon Stella signs new deal with SONGS / Columbia Records

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has signed a new deal with RECORDS/Columbia Records and will release her upcoming debut project later this year.

“Lennon’s unique artistry, point of view, distinctive vocal ability and star-power is simply overwhelming,” says Barry Weiss, Partner & Co-Founder, RECORDS. “We’re super excited to have her here at RECORDS. I’m elated that Jenna Andrews (who does A&R for the label) brought her to us.”

Tinashe unleashes new promotional single “No Drama”

American singer/songwriter Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“No Drama” – featuring Offset – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard, whose other credits include Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Era Istrefi’s “No I Love Yous,” Nicki Minaj’s “Regret in Your Tears,” Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish,” Halsey’s “Now or Never,” and Maroon 5’s “What Lovers Do.”

Production duties on “No Drama” were handled by Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Norwegian duo Stargate, who are also responsible for Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Daya’s “New,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” Rachel Platten’s “Broken Glass,” Majid Jordan’s “Body Talk,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Bebe Rexha’s “I Got Time,” and Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tinashe is scheduled to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection “Joyride” – featuring “Me So Bad” and “Faded Love” – later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Mabel McVey reunites with Marlon Roudette, JD Reid for new promotional single “Fine Line”

Spanish-born Swedish singer and songwriter Mabel McVey, mononymously known by her stage name Mabel, has chritstned “Fine Line” – featuring UK rapper Not3s – as her next promotional single and will release it on January 19 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written with regular collaborators Marlon Roudette and Jordan “JD” Reid, who previously teamed up with Mabel on “Finders Keepers,” which peaked to number eight on the UK Singles Chart.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mabel’s upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions from TMS, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Fraser T. Smith, Rachel “Raye” Keen, Tre Jean-Marie, Negin Djafari, MNEK, Jordan Riley, Lostboy, and The Electric.

Kylie Minogue reveals tracklisting for new album “Golden”

Australian singer/songwriter Kylie Minogue has unwrapped the tracklisting for her upcoming fourteenth album “Golden,” which will arrive later this year via BMG Rights Management.

Lead promotional single “Dancing” – which was produced by Sky Adams -will be available from January 19 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Kylie Christmas” reportedly boasts further productions from Richard “Biff” Stannard, Ash Howes, Sam Dixon, Mark Taylor, Francis “Eg” White, Nathan Chapman, Luke Fitton, Chris DeStefano, Jesse Frasure, and Invisible Men.

On the songwriting front, Minogue has worked with Karen Poole, Amy Wadge, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Lauren Aquilina, Grace Barker, Twinnie, Gina Kushka, Danny Shah, Seton Daunt, Alex Smith, and Steve McEwan.
