Jorja Smith has premiered the music video for her new single online.
The Hector Dockrill-directed clip for “Let Me Down” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Thursday (January 18, 2018).
The track was co-written by Ed Thomas, who is also responsible for Louis Mattrs’ “Pink Lemonade,” Kiah Victoria’s “Cold War,” Zac Abel’s “Everybody Needs Love,” Aquilo’s “Thin,” and Maverick Sabre’s “Falling Again.”
Production duties on “Let Me Down” were collectively handled by Thomas alongside Paul Epworth, whose resume boasts additional works with FKA twigs (“Pendulum”), Usher (“Need U”), Lianne La Havas (“Unstoppable”), Adele (“Skyfall”), Coldplay (“Magic”) and Lana Del Rey (“Black Beauty”).
As mentioned in earlier posts, Smith’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “On My Mind,” “Teenage Fantasy” and “Beautiful Little Fools” – is scheduled to arrive later this year.
