Irish singer/songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham, professionally known as RuthAnne, has teased a new collaboration with John Legend and Dan Wilson.

“2 legends, 1 Irish writing songs together @johnlegend @danwilsonmusic ❤️❤️☘️☘️,” she posted to Instagram on Sunday (January 21, 2018).

RuthAnne’s songwriting resume boasts works with Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katharine McPhee (“Over It”), Leona Lewis (“Perfection”), Martin Garrix (“In the Name of Love”), Britney Spears (“Work Bitch”), Pixie Lott (“Broken Arrow”), Zac Samuel (“Never Letting Go”) and Niall Horan (“Slow Hands”).

In addition to working on her upcoming debut record with regular collaborator James “Malay” Ho, RuthAnne has also contributed to the next projects by Stanaj, Louisa Johnson, Ella Henderson, Liza Owen, and Fleur East.

Meanwhile, Legend is expected to release his sixth studio collection – featuring further contributions from Dan Wilson, Warren “Oak” Felder, and Rachel “Raye” Keen – later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2016’s “Darkness and Light,” which peaked to number fourteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Love Me Now,” “Penthouse Floor” and “Surefire.”
