Colombian-Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez has teamed up with American record producer Happy Perez for a new collaboration.
Perez recently produced “Skywalker” for R&B recording artist Miguel, taken from his latest album under ByStorm Entertainment / RCA Records, “War & Leisure.” The Travis Scott-featuring track peaked to number thirty one on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.
Perez’s resume boasts additional works with Jessie Ware (“Selfish Love”), Camila Cabello (“Crying in the Club”), Machine Gun Kelly (“At My Best”), Halsey (“Now or Never”), K. Michelle (“Pay My Bills”), Mariah Carey (“Beautiful”), Frank Ocean (“We All Try”) and Daley (“Love Somebody”).
Meanwhile, Reyez is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring promotional singles “Cotton Candy” and “Phone Calls” – later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from The Rascals, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Jason Evigan, Chris Loco, Fredro, Salaam Remi, Christopher Braide, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, HazeBanga, Two Inch Punch, Georgia Ku, Fred Ball, and Will IDAP.
