American singer/songwriter Diana Gordon has reunited with fellow musician Justin Tranter for a new collaboration.
Tranter and Gordon previously co-wrote “Tension” for Fergie alongside the song’s producer Alessandro “Alesso” Lindbald. The track appears on Fergie’s sophomore studio collection, “Double Dutchess,” which peaked to number nineteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
Tranter’s credits also include Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel,” Billy Raffoul’s “Acoustic,” Julia Michaels’ “Are You,” Camila Cabello’s “Into It,” Nick Jonas’ “Home,” Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” and Britney Spears’ “Slumber Party.”
Gordon’s upcoming project – which reportedly features further contributions from Chris Loco and Devonte Hynes – is expected to arrive later this year.
As a songwriter, Gordon recently co-wrote “The Kids Are Alright” for Chloe x Halle alongside Tayla Parx. The track appears on the duo’s debut album of the same name, out now via Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records.
Gordon also provided guest vocals on Somewhere Else’s current promotional single “Uh Huh” and co-wrote it with group members Billy Walsh and Carlo “Illangelo” Montagnese.
