American singer/songwriter Khalid Robinson, known mononymously as Khalid, has enlisted Stargate for a new collaboration.

The Norwegian production and songwriting duo – composed of Mikkel Eriksen and Tor Hermansen – recently helmed “No Drama” and “Faded Love” for Tinashe. Both tracks are taken from the artist’s upcoming album, “Joyride,” out on April 13 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Stargate’s credits also include Ne-Yo’s “Push Back,” Charli XCX’s “Track 10,” Majid Jordan’s “Body Talk,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Bebe Rexha’s “I Got Time,” Rachel Platten’s “Broken Glass,” Christina Aguileta’s “Telepathy,” and Zara Larsson’s “Sundown.”

Meanwhile, Khalid is expected to release his sophomore studio collection – featuring additional alliances with Scribz Riley, Hit-Boy, and Sam Romans – later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Having dropped his debut album “American Teen” in early 2017, Khalid also teamed up with fellow recording artists Normani Kordei and Sabrina Claudio on their singles “Love Lies” and “Don’t Let Me Down,” respectively.
