American singer/songwriter Trey Songz has drafted Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox for a new collaboration.

The songwriting and production duo are responsible for Mariah Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us,” Usher’s “Burn,” Janet Jackson’s “Nothing,” Chante Moore’s “Straight Up,” Monica’s “Love All Over Me,” and Tamar Braxton’s “Get None.”

Dupri and Cox have also worked with Alicia Keys (“Girlfriend”), Faith Evans (“Tru Love”), Tamia (“Still”), Whitney Houston (“Never Give Up”), Christina Milian (“Girl Like Me”), Nivea (“Parking Lot”) and 3LW (“Feeling You”).

Meanwhile, Songz – real name Tremaine Neverson – is expected to release his next studio collection later this year via Atlantic Records.

His previous album, 2017’s “Tremaine,” peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned three singles in the shape of “Nobody Else But You,” “Song Goes Off,” and “Animal.”
