Tamera Foster hits the studio with Aston Rudi, Dayyon Alexander

British singer/songwriter Tamera Foster has teamed up with Astoni Rudi and Dayyon Alexander for a new collaboration.

Rudi’s songwriting and production resume boasts works with Sophie Faith’s “Bad Blood,” Jaz Karis’s “Petty Lover,” Anais’s “Nina,” Elli Ingram’s “Table for Two,” Ray BLK’s “Gone,” and Abi Ocia’s “Konfyt.”

Meanwhile, Alexander is responsible for co-writing/producing Demi Lovato’s “Hitchhiker” and “Concentrate,” Ella Mai’s “Everything” (featuring John Legend), and Madison Beer’s “Say It To My Face.”

While no release date has been set for Tamera’s debut project, she has worked with songwriters and producers including Mac & Phil, Eyelar, XSDTRK, Chelcee Grimes, Naughty Boy, Parker Ighile, Electric, Arrow Benjamin, and Future Cut.

Tamera also co-wrote Bakermat’s “Don’t Want You Back” alongside Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett and Komi Al-Hakam. The Kiesza-featuring track is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Stargate celebrate 20 years in the music business

Norwegian songwriting and production duo Stargate, which is composed of members Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, have celebrated 20 years in the music business.

Alongside former member Hallgeir Rustan, and before relocating to the United States, Stargate have helmed hits for Samantha Mumba (“Always Come Back to Your Love”), Misteeq (“Scandalous”), Shola Ama (“Still Believe”), Blue (“All Rise”), Javine (“Real Things”), Atomic Kitten (“It’s OK”), Billie Piper (“Day & Night”), Fierce (“Sweet Love 2K”) and Ashley Ballard (“Hottie”).

Stargate’s recent credits include David Guetta’s “Light Headed,” Charli XCX’s “Girls Night Out,” Khalid’s “Stay,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Almost Love,” Ne-Yo’s “Without You,” Tinashe’s “Faded Love,”  Majid Jordan’s “Body Talk,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” and Sam Smith’s “Too Good At Goodbyes.”

Under Tim Blacksmith and Danny D’s management, Stargate have also worked with songwriters Johnta Austin, Frankie Storm, Claude Kelly, Starrah, Phillip “Taj” Jackson, Autumn Rowe, Justin Tranter, Ester Dean, Ross Golan, Amanda Ghost, James Fauntleroy, Kristal “Tyterwriter” Oliver, and Ryan Toby.

Ella Henderson signs new record deal with Rudimental’s Major Tom’s Music

Ella Henderson has signed a new record deal with Rudimental’s Major Tom’s Music, which is an imprint of Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The label also houses fellow recording artists Dan Caplen and Anne-Marie, whose debut album “Speak Your Mind” peaked to number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “2002,” “Friends” and “Alarm.”

Since the release of her 2014 debut album “Chapter One,” Henderson has worked with songwriters and producers including Richard “Biff” Stannard, Paul O’Duffy, Josh Record, Moon Willis, Fred Ball, Two Inch Punch, Martin Sjolie, Dallas Austin, Cass Lowe, Fraser T. Smith, and Arrow Benjamin.

She has also co-penned Olivia Nelson’s “Back When” (w/ Fred Cox), Paloma Faith’s “Guilty” (w/ TMS and Wayne Hector) and Gabby Barrett’s “Rivers Deep” (w/ Andrew Goldstein, Emanuel Kiriakou, Harloe, and Evan Bogart).

Nina Nesbitt confirms details for debut international album “The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change”

Nina Nesbitt has confirmed the details for her debut international album.

The half-Swedish, half-Scottish singer/songwriter christened her new studio collection “The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change” and will release it on February 1, 2019 via Cooking Vinyl Records.

Current promotional single “Loyal to Me” – which was produced by Fraser T. Smith – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Peroxide” boasts further contributions from Jordan Riley, Peter “Lostboy” Rycroft, Dan Muckala, Bre Kennedy, Thomas “Gemini” Slinger, Samuel Preston, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, and Red Triangle.

Madonna reunites with Mike Dean for new collaboration

Madonna has reunited with Mike Dean for a new collaboration.

The American hip hop record producer previously teamed up with Madonna on “Illuminati,” “Holy Water,” “Inside Out,” “Auto-Tune Baby” and “S.E.X.,” taken from her 2015 album, “Rebel Heart.”

Dean’s resume boasts additional works with Beyonce (“Love Drought”), Christina Aguilera (“Accelerate”), Teyana Taylor (“Gonna Love Me”), The Weeknd (“Tell Your Friends”), Grace Carter (“Ashes”), Justin Bieber (“No Sense”) and The Carters (“Boss”).

Meanwhile, Madonna is currently working on her upcoming album under album under Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Besides regular collaborator Mirwais Ahmadzaï, the still-untitled project reportedly features further productions and songwriting contributions from Fred Ball (Rihanna, Toni Braxton), Starrah (Normani, Calvin Harris), Billboard (Ariana Grande, Britney Spears).

Dua Lipa has teamed up with Kamille for a new collaboration.

Kamille’s recent credits include Clean Bandit’s “Solo,” Louisa Johnson’s “Yes,” Jess Glynne’s “I’ll Be There,” Mist’s “Wish Me Well,” James Arthur’s “You Deserve Better,” and Don Diablo’s “Give Me Love.”

Her current single “Emotional” – which was co-written and produced by Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes of TMS – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa is currently working on her upcoming sophomore studio collection under Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

British singer/songwriter Olivia Deano, known mononymously as Olivia, has released her debut promotional single online.

“Reason to Stay” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Olivia and Glen Roberts alongside Bastian “Carassius Gold” Langebaek, who is also responsible for Jessie Ware’s “Midnight,” Olivia Nelson’s “Up All Night,” Jess Glynne’s “All I Am,” and Jones’ “Waterfalls.”

Olivia’s upcoming project, for which no release date is scheduled as-of-yet, reportedly yields further contributions from Jimmy Napes, Max Wolfgang, Alan Sampson, Fred Cox, Ed Thomas, Courage, and Felix Joseph.

The track was produced by Kid Harpoon, who is also responsible for Jessie Ware’s “Wildest Moments,” Shakira’s “Can’t Remember to Forget You,” Harry Styles’ “Sweet Creature,” and Florence + the Machine’s “What Kind of Man.”

Normani has tapped the production services of Calvin Harris for her new singles.

“Checklist” (which was co-written by Starrah) and “Slow Down” (which was co-written by Jessie Reyez) are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Besides recently topping the UK Singles Chart with Sam Smith (“Promises”) and Dua Lipa (“One Kiss”), Harris also wrote and produced tracks for Rihanna (“We Found Love”), Kylie Minogue (“Too Much”), Sophie Ellis Bextor (“Off and On”), Rita Ora (“I Will Never Let You Down”) and Mary J. Blige (“One Life”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Normani is currently working on her upcoming debut album under Keep Cool / RCA Records.
