American singer/songwriter Normani Kordei, known mononymously as Normani, has enlisted Pharrell Williams for her upcoming debut album.
Williams’s recent songwriting and production credits include Ariana Grande’s “The Light is Coming,” Travis Scott’s “Skeletons,” Janelle Monae’s “I Got the Juice,” Camila Cabello’s “Sangria Wine,” Justin Timberlake’s “Man of the Woods,” and The Carters’ “Apeshit.”
His last studio collection under Columbia Records, 2014’s “Girl,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Marilyn Monroe,” “Come Get it Bae” and “Gust of Wind.”
Meanwhile, Normani current single “Waves” – featuring 6LACK – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.
For her upcoming debut album under Keep Cool / RCA Records, Normani has also worked with producers Stargate, Boi-1da, D’Mile, Joel Little, The-Dream, Nova Wav, Jahaan Sweet, London on Da Track, DJ Mustard, and The Rascals.
