American singer/songwriter Alina Baraz has enlisted Mary Weitz and Daniel “Grades” Traynor for a new collaboration.
Weitz is responsible for co-writing “Waves” for Normani alongside Felicia Ferraro and Jonah Christian. The 6lack-featuring track peaked to number nineteen on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart.
Meanwhile, Grades’ recent production and songwriting credits include Ady Suleiman’s “Strange Roses,” TS Graye’s “Honestly,” Nao’s “Drive and Disconnect,” M.O.’s “Wondering,” Years & Years’ “Karma,” Cosha’s “U Better,” Sinead Harnett’s “Body,” and Four of Diamonds’ “Name on It.”
Baraz’s latest promotional single “Feels Right” – which was co-written by Cara Salimando and produced by Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.
Her upcoming project and follow-up to 2018’s “The Color of You” – featuring further contributions from The Stereotypes, Jeff Gitty, Michael Pollack, Hue Strother, J Mills, Skylar Grey, and Jason Evigan – is expected to arrive later this year.
