Keri Hilson has enlisted Andre Harris for a new collaboration.
As one half of songwriting and production duo Dre & Vidal, Harris has helmed songs for Usher (“Caught Up”), Mariah Carey (“Lullaby”), Alicia Keys (“So Simple”), Chris Brown (“Excuse Me Miss”), Amerie (“Just Like Me”), Fantasia (“I Nominate U”) and Bobby Valentino (“Slow Down”).
Harris’ most recent credits include Earthgang’s “Wings,” Kash Doll’s “Kitten,” Chris Brown’s “Troubled Waters,” BJ the Chicago Kid’s “Time Today,” Estelle’s “Lights Out,” Ro James’ “Outside the Box,” H.E.R’s “Wait for It,” Bryson Tiller’s “Teach Me a Lesson,” LeToya’s “Grey,” and Sir’s “Summer in November.”
Meanwhile, Hilson is currently working on her upcoming third album, for which a title and release date is yet to be announced. The highly-anticipated project follows 2010’s “No Boys Allowed,” which spawned three singles in the shape of “Pretty Girl Rock,” “One Night Stand” and “Lose Control.”
As a songwriter, Hilson has penned songs for Britney Spears (“Gimme More”), Ciara (“Ooh Baby”), Mary J. Blige (“Take Me As I Am”), Toni Braxton (“Supposed to Be”), Usher (“Red Light”), Omarion (“Ice Box”), Jennifer Lopez (“Wrong When You’re Gone”) and Megan Rochell (“It’s On You”).
