Melanie Fiona has teased a new collaboration with Babyface.
“Let me tell ya’ll how my 11/11 is magic every year. Thank you Universe for placing me in these moments with LEGENDARY people and experiences that are nothing short of life changing. I am humbled with infinite gratitude,” the Canadian singer/songwriter posted to Instagram.
Babyface’s recent credits include Arin Ray’s “Always,” Jessie Reyez’s “Body Count,” Toni Braxton’s “My Heart,” Kenny Lattimore’s “Falling for You,” Foxes’ “Scar,” Jordin Sparks’ “They Don’t Give,” and Ariana Grande’s “Baby I.”
His last studio collection, 2015’s “Return of the Tender Lover,” peaked to number five on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned singles “We’ve Got Love” and “Exceptional.”
Fiona is currently working on her third album, tentatively entitled “Next Train,” which is expected to arrive next year via BMG Rights Management.
The follow-up to 2012’s “The MF Life” reportedly features additional contributions from Andre Harris, Lil Eddie, Mike Woods, Scott Storch, Chris N Teeb, Fredro, Sebastian Kole, Audra Mae, and Jesse Shatkin.
