Toni Braxton has teased new music in 2020.

“Wait for It!” the American singer, songwriter, and actress posted to Instagram on Tuesday (February 11, 2020).

Braxton’s last studio album, 2018’s “Sex & Cigarettes,” peaked to number twenty-two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned two singles in the shape of “Deadwood” and “Long As I Live,” which was nominated for Best R&B Song at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

That album also featured productions and songwriting contributions from Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Antonio Dixon, Dapo Torimiro, Fred Ball, James Newman, Stuart Crichton, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Pierre Medor, and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes of The Rascals.

Her song “She’ll Never Love You,” which was originally intended for “Sex & Cigarettes,” appears on Catherine McGrath’s debut album “Talk of This Town.” The track was written by Braxton alongside Paddy Dalton and Jon Maguire.
