Mabel has announced the details for her new single.
The British-Swedish singer/songwriter (born Mabel Alabama McVey) dubbed “Boyfriend” as her next promotional cut and will release it on February 26 via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.
The track was co-written by Camille “Kamille” Purcell and Steven “Steve Mac” McCutcheon, who previously teamed up with Mabel on hit singles “Don’t Call Me Up” (UK No. 3) and “Mad Love” (UK No. 8).
Mabel’s debut studio album, 2019’s “High Expectations,” peaked to number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned productions from Dre Skull (“Bad Behaviour”), Al Shux (“We Don’t Say”), Fraser T. Smith (“Selfish Love”), Josh Crocker (“Not Saying”) and Snakehips (“Stockholm Syndrome”).
