American singer/songwriter Alicia Keys has recorded new music with P2J and Izy Beats alongside Swizz Beatz and Jamaican recording artist Proteje. It is yet to be known whether this session is intended for a future Proteje release or Keys’ upcoming studio album, “ALICIA.”
IzyBeats production credits include Jorja Smith’s “Be Honest” and Koffee’s “Rapture.” The Jamaican-born, Miami based producer has also contributed to the next projects by Kasai, Ne-Yo, and Claudia Valentina.
Meanwhile, P2J is responsible for producing Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl,” Doja Cat’s “Addiction,” Jaz Karis’ “Summer Story,” Miraa May’s “Bad Behaviour,” Snoh Aalegra’s “Situationship,” and Justine Skye’s “Secrets.”
As mentioned in earlier posts, Keys will release her seventh studio album “ALICIA” on March 20 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.
Her current promotional single “Underdog” – which was co-written by Ed Sheeran alongside Johnny McDaid, Amy Wadge, Jonny Coffer, and Foy Vance – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.
The follow-up to 2016’s “Here” reportedly boasts additional songwriting contributions from Tricky Stewart, Pierre Medor, Jeremiah Bethea, Emeli Sande, Linda Perry, Jimmy Napes, Arrow Benjamin, and Fred Ball.
