Cover Drive share lyric video for new single “Breakdown”

Cover Drive have shared the lyric video for their new single online.

The Bajan quartet – composed of Amanda Reifer, T-Ray Armstrong, Jamar Harding, and Barry Hill – posted the Jahket-directed clip for “Breakdown” to their YouTube channel on Monday (March 13, 2017).

The Dread Hawk-produced track was co-written by Reifer and Emma Ariel alongside Kerrie “KETA” Thomas-Armstrong, who previously teamed up with Cover Drive on “Love Junkie,” “Whatever Suits You,” “Lovesick Riddim,” “Welcome to Me,” “Grapefruit Perrier,” “Easy Life,” and Alexandra Stan’s “Trumpet Blows.”

Cover Drive’s sophomore studio collection, tentatively entitled “In the Meantime,” is expected to arrive later this year.

The highly-anticipated project follows 2013’s “Bajan Style,” which debuted at number fourteen on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including the Ina Wroldsen-assisted “Twilight” and Jonathan Rotem-produced “Lick Ya Down.”

JONES shares lyric video for new single “Whole”

JONES has shared a new lyric video online.

The British singer/songwriter – real name Cherie Jones – posted the lyrical clip for “Whole” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (February 21, 2017).

Peter “Merf” Kellher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes of TMS co-wrote the track – which was previously recorded by Polish singer/songwriter Aneta – alongside Ina Wroldsen (Janelle Monae, Zara Larsson), Wayne Hector (Charlie Puth, Ricky Reed) and James Reynolds (Dragonette, Icona Pop).

JONES’ acoustic EP – featuring the Laura Dockrill & Josh Record-assisted “Hoops” and “Becoming” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “New Skin,” is expected to arrive later this year via 37 adventures.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts alliances with Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers (Iggy Azalea), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding), Rachel Furner (Craig David), Martin Sjolie (Sam Smith) and Ed Harcourt (James Bay).

Frances drafts Greg Kurstin for new single “Say It Again”

Frances has shared her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter – real name Sophie Cooke – posted the lyrical clip for “Say it Again” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (June 30, 2016).

“Say it Again” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by produced by Greg Kurstin, who also worked with Adele (“Hello”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“Boy Problems”) and Gwen Stefani (“You’re My Favorite”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Frances is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring previous singles “Borrowed Time” and “Don’t Worry About Me” – later this year through Method Records and Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project delivers further contributions from Jimmy Napes (Alicia Keys, Eliza Doolittle), Howard Lawrence (Ellie Goulding, Lianne La Havas) and Steve Fitzmaurice (Sam Smith, Olly Murs).

Karen Harding has shared the lyric video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the lyrical clip for “When You Gonna Realise” to her Vevo channel on Friday (May 20, 2016).

“When You Gonna Realise” was co-written by Jonny Lattimer, who also contributed to the next projects by Rebecca Ferguson [Syco], Izzy Bizu [Epic], Raye [Polydor], Sinead Harnett [Virgin] and Melissa Steel [Atlantic].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Harding is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring previous singles “Say Something” and “Open My Eyes” – later this year through Method Records and Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further contributions from Jimmy Napes, Laura Dockrill, Tom Aspaul, Emanuel Kiriakou, Richard Stannard, Ash Howes, Rodney Jerkins, Evan Bogart, Josh Record, and Future Cut.

Gwen Stefani unveils lyric video for new single “Misery”

Gwen Stefani has debuted her new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the lyrical clip for “Misery” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (March 10, 2016).

“Misery” was co-written by Julia Michaels (Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony), Justin Tranter (Selena Gomez, Zara Larsson), Mattias Larsson (Taylor Swift, Hailee Steinfeld) and Robin Fredriksson (Tove Lo, Ellie Goulding).

Stefani’s third studio collection “This is What the Truth Feels Like” – featuring previous singles “Used to Love You” and “Make Me Like You” – will be released on March 18 via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Other album contributors include Stargate (Rihanna, Kelly Rowland), Greg Kurstin (Adele, Kylie Minogue), Jonathan Rotem (Kehlani, John Legend) and Rick Nowels (FKA twigs, Charli XCX).

Frances has shared the lyric video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter-pianist posted the lyrical clip for “Don’t Worry About Me” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (March 08, 2016).

“DWAM” serves as the follow-up to previous release “Borrowed Time,” which was produced by Howard Lawrence of Disclosure.

On the songwriting front, Frances penned “Open My Eyes” for label mate Karen Harding along with Josh Wilkinson and James Reynolds.

Her upcoming debut album will hit stores and online outlets later this year through Method Records and Capitol Records.

In addition to Howard Lawrence, the still-untitled project features productions and songwriting contributions from Jimmy Napes (Eliza Doolittle, Sam Smith) and Greg Kurstin (Ellie Goulding, Kelly Clarkson).

The Bajan quartet posted the lyrical clip for “Grapefruit Perrier” to their YouTube channel on Tuesday (February 23, 2016).

“Grapefruit Perrier” was written by group members Amanda Reifer, T-Ray Armstrong, Jamar Harding and Barry Hill along with regular collaborator and manager, Kerrie Thomas-Armstrong.

Cover Drive’s upcoming sophomore studio collection and follow-up to 2012’s “Bajan Style” will be released later this year.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers contributions from Mac & Phil (Jess Glynne, Emeli Sande), Will IDAP (Kygo, Jessie J), Ms. D (Karen Harding, Parker Ighile) and Naughty Boy (Rihanna, Leona Lewis).
