Chromeo schedule release date for new album “Head Over Heels”

Chromeo have scheduled the release date for their upcoming album.

The Canadian electro-funk duo – composed of David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel – will release “Head Over Heels” on June 15 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Current promotional single “Must’ve Been” – which was co-written by Ammar Malik, Isaiah Tejada, Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis, Jacob “JKash” Kasher, Spencer Bastian, and Jason Evigan – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “White Women” reportedly yields additional alliances with The Monsters & Strangerz, Priscilla Renea, Ian Kirkpatrick, Digital Farm Animals, MNEK, Andrew Jackson, Scott Harris, and Lindy Robbins.

Janelle Monae unwraps tracklist for new album “Dirty Computer”

American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, model, and actress Janelle Monae has unwrapped the tracklisting for her fourth album.

“Dirty Computer” – featuring singles “Make Me Feel,” “Django Jane,” “Pynk” and “I Like That” – will arrive on April 26 via Wondaland Records in partnership with Bad Boy Records and Atlantic Records.

In addition to special guests Grimes, Zoe Kravitz and Brian Wilson; The highly-anticipated project also boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Mattman & Robin, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Pharrell Williams, Tayla Parx, Organized Noise, Chuck Lightning and Nate “Rocket” Wonder.

Teyana Taylor selects release date for sophomore album

Teyana Taylor has selected the release date for her upcoming sophomore album.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress’ second studio collection will arrive on June 22 via GOOD Music in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.

The still-untitled project is executive-produced by Kanye West, who also helmed tracks for Mariah Carey (“Stay the Night”), Janet Jackson (“My Baby”), Keyshia Cole (“I Changed My Mind”), Brandy (“Talk About Our Love”), Monica (“Knock Knock”), Alicia Keys (“You Don’t Know My Name”) and Beyonce (“Party”).

Taylor’s debut studio collection, 2014’s “VII,” debuted at number nineteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Maybe,” “Business” and the Chris Brown-featuring “Do Not Disturb.”

That project also delivered contributions from Harmony Samuels (“Put Your Love On”), James Fauntleroy (“Just Different”), Stacy Barthe (“Outta My League”), Eric Bellinger (“Broken Hearted Girl”), Courtney Harrell (“It Could Just Be Love”), Vidal Davis (“Sorry”) and Brian Kennedy (“Dreams”).

The British singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “Lost & Found” and will release it on June 8th via FAMM.

The American rapper and television personality, born Belcalis Almanzar, christened her first studio collection “Invasion of Privacy” and will release it on April 6 via Warner Music / Atlantic Records.

Current promotional single “Bartier Cardi” – which was collectively produced by 30 Roc and Cheeze Beatz – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The American singer/songwriter will release her next studio collection “Joyride” on April 13th via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The Stargate-produced singles “No Drama,” featuring Offset and co-written with Starrah; and “Faded Love,” featuring Future and co-written with Noonie Bao and Sasha Sloan, are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Nightride” reportedly boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Jonas Jeberg, Sam Hook, MNEK, Shungudzo, Fred Ball, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Arrow Benjamin, Julia Michaels, BloodPop, Justin Tranter, and NOVAWAV.

Taya schedules release date for new promotional single “Skin”

British singer/songwriter Taylor Fowlis, known mononymously as Taya, is scheduled to release her new single “Skin” on February 16 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Anita Blay (better known by her stage name CocknBullKid), whose songwriting resume boasts additional works with Little Mix (“Hair”), Neon Jungle (“Future Ex Girl”), Lilly Ahlberg (“Bad Boys”), Arlissa (“Same Road”) and Caitlyn Scarlett (“Lost in Space”).

Production duties on “Skin” were handled by Alan Sampson, who is also responsible co-writing and producing Jay Sean’s “Ride It,” Alesha Dixon’s “Every Little Part of Me,” Parade’s “Louder,” Zayn Malik’s “She,” Rita Ora’s “Kiss Me,” and Craig David’s “Louder Than Words.”

Taya is expected to release her next project – featuring further productions from The Electric, Fred Ball, Two Inch Punch, Lostboy, Sacha Skarbek, Knightstarr, Ollie Green, Grades, Scribz Riley, Ill Blu, Fred Cox, ADP, Carassius Gold, and Tre Jean Marie – later this year via Atlantic Records.

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the highly-anticipated collection are Sophie “Frances” Cooke, Lauren Aquilina, Dayo “Dyo” Olatunji, Chiara Hunter, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Caroline Ailin, Ina Wroldsen, Shae Jacobs, Jacob Attwooll, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Sebastian Kole, Plested, and James Newman.
