Anne-Marie reunites with Ina Wroldsen, Steve Mac for new promotional single “Then”

Anne-Marie has confirmed the details for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter (born Anne-Marie Nicholson) christened “Then” as her next promotional cut and will release it on December 15 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Ina Wroldsen, whose other credits include Clean Bandit’s “Symphony,” Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” Sofia Carson’s “Love is the Name,” Madison Beer’s “Melody,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Adore,” and Britney Spears’ “He About to Lose Me.”

Production duties on “Then” were handled by Steve Mac, who is also responsible for Pink’s “What About Us,” Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Birdy’s “Hear You Calling,” Zara Larsson’s “Don’t Let Me Be Yours,” Rita Ora’s “Your Song,” and Liam Payne’s “Bedroom Floor.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Anne-Marie’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “Heavy,” “Ciao Adios” and “Alarm” – is expected to arrive early next year via Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions from Chris Loco, Emily Warren, Moon Willis, Kamille, Justin Parker, Negin Djafari, Fred Cox, Amy Wadge, Jonas Jeberg, Raye, Bless Beats, Sasha Sloan, Fraser T. Smith, Chelcee Grimes, Jamie Scott, Stacy Barthe, Jesse Shatkin, Natasha Bedingfield, Digital Farm Animals, Jin Jin, Ed Sheeran, and Mojam Music.

Jennifer Hudson releases new promotional single “Burden Down”

Jennifer Hudson has released her new promotional single online.

“Burden Down” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Lindy Robbins, whose recent credits include DJ Snake’s “A Different Way,” Paloma Faith’s “Cry Baby,” Dua Lipa’s “No Goodbyes,” and Rachel Platten’s “Perfect for You.”

Production duties on “Burden Down” were handled by Jamie Hartman, who is also responsible for Kygo’s “Stargazing,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human,” JP Cooper’s “Passport Home,” Kacy Hill’s “Lion,” and Birdy’s “Shadow.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Hudson’s upcoming fourth album – featuring previous promotional single “Remember Me” – is expected to arrive early next year via Epic Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “JHUD” reportedly delivers additional alliances with Babyface (Fantasia Barrino), Jon Levine (Rachel Platten), Lauren Christy (Bebe Rexha), Toby Gad (John Legend), Sam Romans (Alicia Keys), Jeff Gitty (Keyshia Cole), Xavier Gordon (Angie Stone) and Cook Classics (Trey Songz).

Lily Allen unleashes new promotional single “Trigger Bang”

Lily Allen has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Trigger Bang” – featuring Giggs – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Taken from Allen’s upcoming fourth studio collection under Warner Music Group / Polydor Records, tentatively entitled “The Fourth Wall,” the track was co-written and produced by Benjamin “Fryars” Garrett.

Other songwriters and producers expected to appear on the follow-up to 2014’s “Sheezus,” which topped the UK Albums Chart and peaked to number twelve on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart, are Mark Ronson, Jenna Andrews, Benny Cassette, Andrea “Nylo” Landis, Tev’n, Chloe Angelides, Dre Skull, Sarah Hudson, Ari PenSmith, Liana Banks, and Sam Duckworth.

Gabrielle teases new promotional single “Under My Skin”

Gabrielle has announced the title of her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Louise Gabrielle Bobb) has christened “Under My Skin” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming album and will release it soon via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Ian Barter, whose resume boasts additional works with Paloma Faith (“Broken Doll), Guy Sebastian (“Died and Gone to Heaven”), Alex Hepburn (“Woman”) and Izzy Bizu (“What Makes You Happy”).

Gabrielle’s last studio collection, 2007’s “Always,” debuted at number eleven on the UK Albums Chart and spawned two singles in the shape of the Paul Weller-featuring “Why” and Julian Gallagher-produced “Every Little Teardrop.”

Her greatest hits collection, 2013’s “Now and Always: 20 Years of Dreaming,” spawned contributions from Richard “Biff” Stannard (“When a Woman”), Emeli Sande (“It Takes Time”), Johnny Douglas (“I Wish”), Paddy Byrne (“Say Goodbye”), Syience (“Knew Me”) and Jonathan Shorten (“Sunshine”).

The track was co-written by Mustafa the Poet and Brian Lee alongside Billy Walsh of Somewhere Else, whose songwriting resume boasts additional works with Alicia Keys (“In Common”), Emeli Sande (“Starlight”), The Weeknd (“Die Alone”), Raye (“Glue”) and Post Malone (“I Fall Apart”).

Production duties on “Real Friends” were handled by Frank Dukes, who is also responsible for Justine Skye’s “Goodlove,” Zayn Malik’s “Still Got Time,” Future’s “Rich Sex,” Nicki Minaj’s “Regret in Your Tears,” Rihanna’s “Sex with Me,” Bebe Rexha’s “Comfortable,” and Lorde’s “Green Light.”

“Ashes” – which was collectively produced by Mike Dean alongside George and Henry Flint of The 23rd – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Carter wrote “Ashes” with Adam Midgley, Gerrard O’Connell and Tommy Baxter of London-based group Ritual, who are also responsible for Dua Lipa’s “Hotter Than Hell” and Jasmine Thompson’s “Someone’s Somebody.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Carter’s upcoming debut project – featuring previous promotional single “Silence” – is expected to arrive early next year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.
