Rachel Platten unveils music video for new single “Broken Glass”

Rachel Platten has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Broken Glass” to her Vevo channel on Friday (August 18, 2017).

Co-written by Nate Cyphert (Trey Songz, Florida Georgia Line) and Jarrad Rogers (Ella Eyre, Rita Ora); the track is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Broken Glass” were collectively handled by Rogers alongside Norwregian duo Stargate (aka Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen), who have recently worked with Bebe Rexha (“I Got Time”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Zara Larsson (“Sundown”) and Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Platten’s second major label album and follow-up to 2016’s “Wildfire” is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Amber Mark shares new promotional single “Heatwave”

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Amber Mark has shared her new promotional single online.

“Heatwave” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and co-produced by Mark Ralph, whose credits also include Taya’s “When Ur Sober,” Zac Samuel’s “Never Letting Go,” Jax Jones’s “Instruction,” Clean Bandit’s “Disconnect,” Zara Larsson’s “Symphony,” Frances’s “Under Our Feet,” and Era Istrefi’s “Redrum.”

Mark’s upcoming project, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Jasmine Music in parternship with PMR Records and Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with Two Inch Punch (Sabrina Claudio), Sarah Aarons (Dua Lipa), Noah Breakfast (Kanye West), STINT (Demi Lovato) and Jeff Gitty (Jason Derulo).

Justin Bieber liberates new promotional single “Friends”

Justin Bieber has liberated his new promotional single online.

“Friends” – which was co-written alongside Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, and Michael “BloodPop” Tucker – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Bieber’s upcoming fifth album is expected to arrive later this year via School Boy Records in partnership with Def Jam Recordings and Republic Records.

His previous studio collection, 2015’s “Purpose,” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles international hit singles including “Sorry,” “What Do You Mean” and “Love Yourself.”

Taya unleashes new promotional single “When Ur Sober”

British singer/songwriter Taylor Ann Fowlis, known mononymously as Taya, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“When Ur Sober” – featuring Yxng Bane – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Boasting co-production duties from Diztortion (Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson) and Mark Ralph (Amber Mark, Zara Larsson); “Sober” was co-written by Wayne Hector (Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne), Arnthor Birgisson (RAYE, Enrique Iglesias) and Emma Davidson-Dillon (Jasmine Thompson, Zac Samuel).

Taya’s upcoming debut mini-album – featuring previous singles “Deeper,” “Got Me Wondering” and “Sweet Waste of Time” – is scheduled to arrive on September 1st via Atlantic Records UK.

Other producers backing Taya on the self-titled project are George Reid (Raleigh Ritchie), Felix Snow (Katy Perry), Jonas Jeberg (Chris Brown) and Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh (Lianne La Havas).

On the songwriting front, Taya has worked with Karen Poole (Dua Lipa), Eyelar Mirzazadeh (Tinashe), Anjulie Persaud (Nicki Minaj), Tom Havelock (Sinead Harnett) and Jean Baptiste Kouame (Mabel McVey).

Zac Samuel drafts Kyla for new promotional single “Play it Cool”

British record producer and songwriter Zac Samuel has delivered his new promotional single online.

“Play it Cool” – featuring Kyla – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The co-written by Emma Davidson-Dillon alongside TMS (aka Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes), who are also responsible for Ghosted’s “Get Some,” Dua Lipa’s “Bad Together,” Birdy’s “Wild Horses,” Fleur East’s “Gold Watch,” and Emeli Sande’s “Highs & Lows.”

Samuel’s upcoming project – featuring the Taya & Moon Willis-assisted “Never Letting Go” – is expected to arrive later this year via Jasmine Music in partnership with PMR Records and Polydor Records.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mark’s upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via PMR Records and Virgin EMI Records.

For the still-untitled collection, the “Lose My Cool” star has worked with producers Two Inch Punch (Jessie Reyez), Noah Breakfast (Becky Hill), Jeff Gitty (Kelsey Lu) and STINT (Sabrina Claudio).

Miley Cyrus announces details for new promotional single

Miley Cyrus has announced the details for her new single.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress christened “Younger Now” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming album of the same name and will release it on August 18 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by regular collaborator Oren Yoel, whose other credits include Stacy Barthe’s “Extraordinary Love,” Rozzi Crane’s “Painkiller,” Eliza Doolittle’s “No Man Can,” Tori Kelly’s “Art of Letting You Go,” and Keri Hilson’s “Isn’t It Always.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, the follow-up to 2015’s “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” – featuring previous promotional single “Malibu” – is scheduled to arrive on September 29 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.
