Noah Cyrus registers new song title with ASCAP

Noah Cyrus has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“We Are Fucked” was written by Cyrus alongside Savan Kotecha (The Weeknd, Britney Spears), Ali Payami (Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding) and Martin “Max Martin” Sandberg (Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello).

The track is slotted for inclusion on Cyrus’ upcoming debut studio collection “NC-17,” which will arrive later this year via Ron Perry’s Songs Music Publishing and Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS.

Other songwriters and producers expected to appear on the highly-anticipated project are Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Linkin Park), Ross Golan (Selena Gomez), Two Inch Punch (Jessie Ware), Noonie Bao (Katy Perry), Carl Falk (Madonna) and Nonfiction (Chris Brown).

Current promotional single “I’m Stuck” – which was written by Cyrus alongside Sam Romans, Jenna Andrews, and Labrinth – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

John Legend confirms new album “Darkness and Light” song titles

John Legend has confirmed song titles from his upcoming studio collection.

“I Know Better,” “Penthouse Floor” (featuring Chance the Rapper), “That’s How You Do Me,” “Overload” (featuring Miguel), “Surefire” and “Right By You” are slotted for inclusion on Legend’s next album, “Darkness and Light.”

Lead single “Love Me Now” – which was produced by Blake Mills and John Henry Ryan – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Other producers backing Legend on “Love and Darkness” are Greg Kurstin (Adele), Malay (Sam Smith), Jonathan Rotem (Usher), RoccStar (Jennifer Lopez), Stephan Moccio (The Weeknd) and Alex Da Kid (Rihanna).

On the songwriting front, Legend has reportedly teamed up with Joel Compass (FKA twigs), Sean Garrett (Beyonce), Andrew Jackson (The Chainsmokers), Sam Romans (Alicia Keys), and Hayley Warner (Jessica Simpson).

Legend’s last collection, 2013’s “Love in the Future,” debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Who Do We Think We Are,” “All of Me” and “You & I (Nobody in the World).”

Fleur East registers new song title “Heart Attack”

Fleur East has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“Heart Attack” was co-written by Fiona Bevan and Chiara Hunter along with the song’s producers Daniel Goudie and Ash Milton of Laconic.

The track is slotted for inclusion on East’s upcoming sophomore studio collection under Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “Love, Sax and Flashbacks,” which peaked to number fourteen on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Sax” and “More and More.”

Other musicians backing East on the keenly awaited album are Tre Jean-Marie (KAYTRANADA), Taylor Parks (Alicia Keys), M-Phazes (Keyshia Cole), Jacob Attwooll (Craig David) and Maegan Cottone (Little Mix).

Jessie J has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“In Our Hands” was written by Jessie J – real name Jessica Cornish – along with Dan Wilson (Adele, Taylor Swift) and Sacha Skarbek (Miley Cyrus, Jessie Ware).

The track is slotted for inclusion on Jessie J’s upcoming fourth album under Lava Records and Republic Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Sweet Talker,” which peaked to number ten on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Bang Bang,” “Burnin’ Up” and “Masterpiece.”

Louisa Johnson registers new song title “Road to Rome”

Louisa Johnson has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“Road to Rome” was written by Linnea Södahl and Marlon Roudette along with the song’s producer Nicholas “Digital Farm Animals” Gale.

The track is slotted for inclusion on Johnson’s upcoming debut album under Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

For the still-untitled project, Johnson also teamed up with BURNS (Charli XCX), Ali Tamposi (Demi Lovato), Chloe Angelides (Selena Gomez), Toby Gad (John Legend), MoZella (Kelly Clarkson) and Priscilla Renea (Fifth Harmony).

Current single, Clean Bandit’s “Tears,” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Atlantic Records.

Britney Spears registers new song title “Man on the Moon”

Britney Spears has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“Man on the Moon” was written by Columbia recording artist Phoebe Ryan along with Ilsey Juber (Beyonce), Sterling Fox (Adam Lambert), Marcos Lomax (Fifth Harmony) and Jason Evigan (Jon Bellion).

The track is slotted for inclusion on Spears’ upcoming ninth album and follow-up to 2013’s “Britney Jean,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Work Bitch” and “Perfume.”

For the still-untitled project, Spears also teamed up with Ian Kirkpatrick, Simon Wilcox, DJ Mustard, Chantal Kreviazuk, Alex Da Kid, Justin Tranter, CJ Baran, Nick Monson, Julia Michaels, Robopop, and Carla Marie Williams.

Current single “Make Me” – available for download from May 20 via iTunes – was co-written by Mischke Butler (Tinashe Austin Mahone) and produced by BURNS (Charli XCX, Louisa Johnson).

Canadian singer-songwriter-guitarist Shawn Mendes has revealed new song titles from his upcoming sophomore album.

“Ruin,” “Like This” and “Three Empty Words” are slotted for inclusion on the artist’s second studio collection under Island Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “Handwritten,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Stitches,” “Aftertaste” and “Life of the Party.”

Among the musicians backing Mendes on the new project are Dan Wilson, Laleh, Stephan Moccio, Amy Wadge, Jake Gosling, Ilsey Juber, Ammar Malik, Teddy Geiger, Danny Parker, Scott Harris, and Geoffrey Warburton.
