Adele shares new single “When We Were Young” live performance

Adele has shared a new performance video online.

An exclusive live rendition of “When We Were Young” was posted to the singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Tuesday (November 17, 2015).

The track marks the second promotional cut from Adele’s upcoming third album, “25,” out on November 20 through XL Recordings and Columbia Records.

It was also co-written by fellow recording artist Tobias Jesso Jr. and produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, whose recent credits include Kelela (“Rewind”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“All That”) and Madonna (“Living for Love”).

Other musicians backing Adele on “25” are Greg Kurstin (Sia), Max Martin (Tinashe), Shellback (Usher), Ryan Tedder (Beyonce), Paul Epworth (John Legend), Danger Mouse (Norah Jones) and Bruno Mars (Alicia Keys).

Sia premieres new single “Alive” music video

Sia has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Australian singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Alive” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (November 05, 2015).

“Alive” – now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets – was co-written by Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr.

Video treatment was co-handled by Daniel Askill, who previously teamed up with the artist on “Chandelier,” “Big Girls Cry” and “Elastic Heart.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Sia’s next studio collection “This is Acting” will hit stores on January 29 through Monkey Puzzle Records and RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “1000 Forms of Fear” delivers further contributions from Greg Kurstin (Kylie Minogue, Lily Allen), Jesse Shatkin (Santigold, Kelly Clarkson) and Chris Braide (Beyonce, Colbie Caillat).

On the songwriting front, Sia has contributed to forthcoming second album by British singer/songwriter Tahliah Barnett, better known as FKA twigs.

Adele has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “When We Were Young” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming third album “25.”

“When We Were Young” was co-written by Tobias Jesso Jr., who previously helmed Sia’s “Alive” along with Adele.

Production duties were handled by Ariel Rechtshaid, whose other credits include Kelela’s “Rewind” [Cherry Coffee Music], Madonna’s “Living for Love” [Interscope] and Sky Ferreira’s “You’re Not the One” [Capitol].

As mentioned in earlier posts, “25” – featuring lead single “Hello” – will hit stores on November 20 through XL Recordings and Columbia Records.

Other musicians backing Adele on the keenly-awaited LP are Greg Kurstin (Beyonce), Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis), Paul Epworth (FKA twigs), Max Martin (Tinashe), Shellback (Britney Spears) and Bruno Mars (Alicia Keys).

Sia schedules new album “This is Acting” release date

Sia has scheduled the release date for her upcoming album.

The Australian singer/songwriter will drop “This is Acting” on January 29 through Monkey Puzzle Records and RCA Records.

Lead single “Alive” – now available for via iTunes – was written by Sia along with fellow recording artists Adele Adkins and Tobias Jesso Jr. The track peaked to number fifty six on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

The follow-up to 2014’s “1000 Forms of Fear” – featuring next single “Bird Set Free” – also boasts productions from Greg Kurstin (Sky Ferreira, Lana Del Rey) and Jesse Shatkin (One Direction, Kelly Clarkson).

On the songwriting front, Sia co-penned songs for Rihanna (“Diamonds”), Beyonce (“Pretty Hurts”), Katy Perry (“Double Rainbow”), Celine Dion (“Loved Me Back to Life”) and Jennifer Lopez (“Expertease”).

Furthermore, she has contributed to forthcoming second studio collection by British singer/songwriter Tahliah Barnett, better known as FKA twigs.

Adele has revealed the tracklisting for her upcoming third album.

The British singer/songwriter will release “25” on November 20 through XL Recordings in conjunction with Columbia Records.

Lead single “Hello” – out now via iTunes – was co-written by Greg Kurstin, whose resume includes further works with Sia (“Chandelier”), Kelly Clarkson (“Heartbeat Song”) and Beyonce (“Standing on the Sun”).

Other album contributors include Max Martin, Shellback, Paul Epworth, Tobias Jesso Jr., Ryan Tedder, Samuel Dixon, Danger Mouse, Bruno Mars, Christopher “Brody” Brown, Philip Lawrence, and Ariel Rechtshaid.

The deluxe edition of the album – which will be exclusively sold on Target outlets in the United States – features three additional songs in the shape of “Can’t Let Go,” “Lay Me Down” and “Why Do You Love Me.”

The British singer/songwriter posted the Xavier Dolan-directed clip for “Hello” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (October 22, 2015).

“Hello” was written by Adele along with Greg Kurstin, whose recent credits include John Newman (“Come and Get It”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“Boy Problems”) and Ellie Goulding (“Something in the Way You Move”).

Adele has confirmed the title for her new album.

The British singer/songwriter christened her third studio collection “25” and will release it later this year through XL Recordings and Columbia Records.

The keenly-awaited project follows 2011’s “21,” which peaked to number one on both the UK and US Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You” and “Set Fire to the Rain.”

On the songwriting front, Adele serves as co-writer for Sia’s latest single “Alive” along with Tobias Jesso Jr. The Jesse Shatkin-produced track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with RCA Records.

Meanwhile, “25” reportedly boasts alliances with Paul Epworth (FKA twigs), Diane Warren (Lady Gaga), Ed Sheeran (Tori Kelly), Ryan Tedder (Beyonce), Pharrell (Usher), Emile Haynie (Jessie Ware) and Max Martin (Katy Perry).
