Janelle Monae premieres music video for new single “Pynk”

Janelle Monae has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Pynk” was posted to the American singer, songwriter, and actress’ YouTube channel on Tuesday (April 10, 2018).

Now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets, “Pynk” was co-written by Monae and Tayla Parx alongside its producers Nathaniel “Nate Rocket Wonder” Irvin III and Charles “Chuck Lightning” Joseph II.

Monae’s upcoming album “Dirty Computer” – featuring previous promotional singles “Make Me Feel” and “Django Jane” – will arrive on April 26 via Wondaland Records in partnership with Bad Boy Records and Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Electric Lady” reportedly yields additional productions and songwriting alliances with Mr. Hudson, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Fred Cox, Amy Wadge, Jim Duguid, Adriano Buffone, Stacy Barthe, Jonny Lattimer, Fabienne Holloway, Jamie Lidell, and Ina Wroldsen.

Janelle Monae drafts Grimes for new promotional single “Pynk”

Janelle Monae has selected her new single.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress christened “Pynk” – featuring Grimes – as the next promotional cut from her upcoming third studio collection, “Dirty Computer,” which will arrive on April 26 via Wondaland Records in partnership with Bad Boy Records and Atlantic Records.

The Aerosmith-sampling track was co-written by fellow recording artist Tayla Parx and collectively produced by regular collaborators Nathaniel “Nate Rocket Wonder” Irvin III and Charles “Chuck Lightning” Joseph II.

Monae’s current single “Make Me Feel” – which was produced by Mattman & Robin and co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Janelle Monae has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The Alan Ferguson-directed clip for “Make Me Feel” was posted to the American singer-songwriter’s YouTube channel on Thursday (February 22, 2018).

Co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter alongside Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson of Swedish production duo Mattman & Robin; “Make Me Feel” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Monae’s upcoming fourth studio collection “Dirty Computer” is scheduled to arrive on April 27 via Wondaland Records and Bad Boy Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly delivers additional songwriting contributions and productions from Fred Cox, Amy Wadge, Jonny Lattimer, Ina Wroldsen, Adriano Buffone, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Mr. Hudson, Tayla Parx, Jim Duguid, Fabienne Holloway, Jamie Lidell, and Stacy Barthe.

Janelle Monae confirms new album “Dirty Computer”

Janelle Monae has confirmed the title for her upcoming album.

The American singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and model christened her fifth studio collection “Dirty Computer” and will release it later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Fred Cox, Amy Wadge, Jonny Lattimer, Ina Wroldsen, Adriano Buffone, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Mr. Hudson, Tayla Parx, Jim Duguid, Fabienne Holloway, Jamie Lidell, and Stacy Barthe.

Monae’s last studio collection, 2013’s “The Electric Lady,” peaked to number five on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Q.U.E.E.N,” “Dance Apocalyptic” and “Prime Time.”

She has also teamed up with mega record producer Pharrell Williams on two tracks in the shape of “Jalapeno” and “Isn’t This the World,” taken from the 2016 original motion picture soundtrack, “Hidden Figures.”

Tom Grennan drafts Jonny Lattimer, Fraser T. Smith for new promotional single “Sober”

British singer/songwriter Tom Grennan has released his new single online.

“Sober” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Jonny Lattimer, whose other credits include Caitlyn Scarlett’s “Happy When,” Bruno Major’s “Second Time,” Zak Abel’s “Rock Bottom,” Frances’ “Let it Out,” Rebecca Ferguson’s “Backtrack,” Kwabs’ “Walk,” Sinead Harnett’s “Rather Be with You,” and Foxes’ “Amazing.”

Production duties on “Sober” were handled by Fraser T. Smith, who is also responsible for Raye’s “Decline,” Craig David’s “I Know You,” Calum Scott’s “You Are the Reason,” Stormzy’s “Blinded by Your Grace,” Ray BLK’s “Baby Girlz,” Jon Bellion’s “Maybe IDK,” and Gavin James’ “Bitter Pill.”

Grennan’s upcoming debut album “Lighting Matches” – featuring previous singles “Found What I’ve Been Looking For,” “I Might” and “Royal Highness” – will arrive on May 18 Sony Music Entertainment / Insanity Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts further ontributions from Laconic, Diane Warren, Peter Stengaard, Jordan Riley, Adriano “Adj” Buffone, Danny Connors, Amy Wadge, Jimmy Hogarth, and Patrick “Paddy” Byrne.

Stacy Barthe has teased a new collaboration with Janelle Monae.

“When your fellow unicorn summons you to come out and play… #janellemonae,” the American singer/songwriter posted to her Instagram profile on Tuesday (November 28, 2017).

Barthe’s songwriting resume boasts works with Alicia Keys (“Limitedless”), Melanie Fiona (“Like I Love You”), Britney Spears (“Blur”), Katy Perry (“Hummingbird Heartbeat”), Miley Cyrus (“Adore You”), Bridget Kelly (“Carry My Cross”), Rihanna (“Cheers”), Lauriana Mae (“Flaws & All”), Marsha Ambrosius (“Honey Pot”) and Teyana Taylor (“Outta My League”).

Her debut album “Becoming,” released in 2015 via John Legend’s label Home School Records in partnership with Motown Records, spawned contributions from fellow musicians including Malay (“War IV Love”), Oren Yoel (“In My Head”), Claude Kelly (“Me Versus Me”), Darhyl “DJ” Camper (“Flawed Beautiful Creatures”) and Benny Cassette (“Live for Today”).

Monae, on the other hand, is expected to release her upcoming studio collection early next year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

JP Cooper has shared the music video for his new promotional single online.

The visual clip for “Closer” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (November 10, 2017).

Collectively produced by Mike Spencer and Teemu Brunila; “Closer” appears on Cooper’s debut studio collection “Raised Under Grey Skies,” which is now available via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Other musicians backing JP Cooper on the album are Adriano Buffone (Janelle Monae), Two Inch Punch (Dan Caplen), Fred Ball (Zak Abel), Jamie Hartman (Kacy Hill), Mark Taylor (Ella Eyre) and Greg Wells (Kimber Springs).
