Ginny Blackmore teams with Al Shux for new single “Under My Feet”

Ginny Blackmore has announced the details for her new single.

The New Zealand singer/songwriter christened “Under My Feet” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album “Over the Moon.”

“Under My Feet” was written by Blackmore along with Al Shux, who’s also behind Lianne La Havas’ “What You Don’t Do” [Nonesuch], Kwabs’ “Saved” [Atlantic] and Ella Henderson’s “Mirror Man” [Syco Music].

The track will also be available for download from October 9 through iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Blackmore has penned songs for Christina Aguilera (“Sing My Song”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Get ‘Em Ready for It”), Adam Lambert (“By The Rules”) and Katharine McPhee (“Love Strikes”).

Her first studio collection “Over the Moon” boasts further alliances with Aeon “Step” Manahan (Alexandra Burke, Stan Walker), Alan Nglish (Taio Cruz, CeeLo Green) and Rob Wells (Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber).

Ginny Blackmore has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming debut album.

The New Zealand singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Over the Moon” later this year through Sony Music Entertainment.

Blackmore wrote the album with record producers Aeon “Step” Manahan (Stan Walker, Alexandra Burke), Alan Nglish (CeeLo Green, Andreya Triana), Al Shux (Alicia Keys, Elle Varner) and Rob Wells (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez).

On the songwriting front, the “Bones” star has penned songs for Christina Aguilera [RCA], Pixie Lott [Virgin EMI], Adam Lambert [Warner Bros], Katharine McPhee [eOne Music] and Nicole Scherzinger [TBA].

Her extensive resume includes further works with musicians such as Future Cut, Dapo Tormiro, Celetia Martin, Kevin Randolph, Iain James, Mojam, Lucas Secon, Freddy Wexler, Maiday, Jonathan Lipsey, and Ben Harrison.

Kat Dahlia works with Diplo for debut album ‘My Garden’

Singer/songwriter Kat Dahlia has added Diplo to the list of contributors for her upcoming debut album, “My Garden,” scheduled for release in February 2014 via Sony Music Entertainment / Vested in Culture / Epic Records.

The super producer – born Thomas Wesley Pentz – has previously collaborated with the likes of Usher [LaFace Records], Chris brown [RCA Records], Justin Bieber [Island Records] and Marina Diamandis [Atlantic Records].

Some of his recent credits include “Passenger” by Britney Spears [RCA Records], “Trampoline” by Tinie Tempah f/ 2 Chainz [Parlophone Records] and “One on One Fun” by Tamar Braxton [Streamline / Epic Records].

Other musicians backing Dahlia on “My Garden” – which will be preceded by new single “Crazy” – are Salaam Remi, Meleni Smith, Tricky Stewart, Frankie Storm, Timbaland, Planet VI, Aeon “Step” Manahan, and Naughty Boy.

Kat Dahlia has released the music video for her new single online.

“Happy and I Know It” – produced by J. Dot – marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s latest mixtape “Seeds.”

The track was co-written by Meleni “Polly A.” Smith, who previously teamed up with the artist on “Gangsta” EP cuts “Money Party” and “Mirror.”

Other notable credits by Polly A. include “Crooked Smile” by J. Cole featuring TLC [Columbia Records], “No Bueno” by Angel Haze [Republic Records] and “Bang Bang Bang” by Selena Gomez [Hollywood Records].

Meanwhile, Dahlia is currently putting the final touches on her upcoming debut album “My Garden,” scheduled for release in February via Sony Music Entertainment / Vested in Culture / Epic Records.

Singer/songwriter Kat Dahlia has recently worked with Planet VI for her upcoming debut album, “My Garden,” scheduled for release in February 2014 via Sony Music Entertainment / Vested in Culture / Epic Records.

The songwriting and production duo – which consists of siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas – are responsible for singles “I’m Out” by Ciara [Epic Records] and “Kisses Down Low” by Kelly Rowland [Republic Records].

They also contributed to the next albums by Miley Cyrus [RCA Records], Nicole Scherzinger [Interscope Records], Beyoncé Knowles [Columbia Records], Cassie [Bad Boy Records] and Keri Hilson [Mosley Music Group].

Kat Dahlia has unveiled the official artwork for her new single.

The singer/songwriter – real name Katriana Huguet – will release “Fireman” as the second single form her upcoming debut album, “My Garden,” which is due in September via Sony Music Entertainment / Vested in Culture / Epic Records.

“Fireman” was written by Kat Dahlia along with Matthew Burke and Adeniyi Omondi Adelekan also known as Synematik.
