Gallant premieres music video for new single “Sleep On It”

Gallant has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The visual clip for “Sleep On It” – featuring a guest appearance from R&B crooner Ginuwine – was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Thursday (August 29, 2019).

The track was written by Gallant alongside James “Boy Matthews” Norton (Sasha Keable, Little Mix), Jeffrey “Jeff Gitty” Gitelman (Amber Mark, Kirby Lauryen) and Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya (Sinead Harnett, Trey Songz).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Gallant’s upcoming sophomore album “Sweet Insomnia” – featuring additional songwriting contributions from Sarah Aarons, Ben Abaraham, and Trey Campbell – is scheduled to arrive on October 25 via Mind of a Genius Records / Warner Records.

Arlissa releases new single “Running”

American-German singer/songwriter Arlissa Ruppert, known mononymously as Arlissa, has released her new single online.

“Running” – which was written by Arlissa alongside producers Martin Terefe and Matt Schwartz – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Arlissa’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional single “Let This Go” (produced by Peter “Neros” Ibsen and co-written by Sam Fischer and Jamal “Digi” Chammas) – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings.

The still-untitled project reportedly features contributions from Mighty Mike, Shungudzo, Oak Felder, Mayila Jones, Sebastian Kole, Fredro, Natt Dunn, Wrabel, Jesse Shatkin, Stint, Carmen Reece, Lostboy, Sidnie Tipton, Andre Harris, MoZella, Rykeyz, Senai Tedross, and Martin Sjolie.

Arlissa reveals artwork for new single “Running”

Arlissa has revealed the artwork for her new single online.

“Guys, I’ve had the craziest journey with music since I was 14 writing my first songs. I’ve had so so so so many obstacles and people try to get in the way but here we are! Running is out Friday 16th! Thanks for being on this journey with me and believing in me! I love you all,” the American-German singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Sunday (August 11, 2019).

As per BMI Repertoire, “Running” was written by Arlissa alongside Martin Terefe (Shawn Mendez, Aloe Blacc) and Matt Schwartz (Cheryl, Kylie Minogue).

Arlissa’s upcoming debut album – featuring current promotional single “Let This Go” – is expected to arrive later this year via Def Jam Recordings.

Sinead Harnett reveals details for debut album “Lessons in Love”

Sinead Harnett has revealed the details for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “Lessons in Love” and will release it on September 20 via Bad Music.

Current single “Pulling Away” (featuring Gallant) – which was co-written by Hayley Gene Penner and produced by Stint – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project also features previous singles “Lessons” (produced by JD. Reid), “Leo Bear” (produced by Maths Time Joy), “By Myself” (produced by Stint) and “If You Let Me” (produced by Grades).

Other musicians expected to appear on “Lessons in Love” are Cass Lowe, Katy B, Loxe, Future Cut, Illangelo, Doc McKinney, Alan Sampson, Michael Angelo, Autumn Rowe, Rodney Jerkins, Marlon Roudette, P2J, Ari PenSmith.

Hamzaa teams up with Stint, Trey Campbell for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Cassandra-Malika Hamza, known mononymously as Hamzaa, has teamed up with Trey Campbell and Stint for a new collaboration.

Campbell’s songwriting resume boasts works with Banks (“Look What You’re Doing To Me”), Ella Mai (“Found”), Adam Lambert (“Two Fux”), Bebe Rexha (“Atmosphere”), Maad (“Black Ice”), Guy Sebastian (“Stay In Bed”), Inna (“Heaven”) and Black Saint (“Don’t Wreck My Holiday”).

Meanwhile, Stint (born Ajay Bhattacharyya) is responsible for producing Sinead Harnett’s “Pulling Away,” Alina Baraz’s “Tainted,” Sabrina Claudio’s “Unravel Me,” Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me,” Jessie Ware’s “Alone,” Nao’s “Don’t Change,” Tei Shi’s “A Kiss Goodbye,” and Janelle Monae’s “Unbreakable.”

Hamzaa’s upcoming project – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from TMS, Emile Haynie, Dayyon Alexander, Laconic, Aston Rudi, Fred Cox, MNEK, Iain James, and Tre Jean-Marie – is expected to arrive later this year via Parlophone Records.

British singer/songwriter Sinead Harnett has released her new single online.

“Pulling Away” – featuring Gallant – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Hayley Gene Penner, whose resume boasts additional works with Charlotte Lawrence (“Keep Me Up”), Sabrina Claudio (“Cross Your Mind”) and Lennon Stella (“Feelings”).

Production duties on “Pulling Away” were handled by Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya, who is also responsible for Alina Baraz’s “Tainted,” Nao’s “Don’t Change,” Tei Shi’s “A Kiss Goodbye,” and Janelle Monae’s “Unbreakable.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Harnett’s upcoming project and follow-up to 2017’s “Chapter One” – featuring previous single “Leo Bear” (which was produced by Maths Times Joy) – is expected to arrive later this year.

On the still-untitled collection, the “She Ain’t Me” singer also worked with songwriters and producers including Rodney Jerkins, Autumn Rowe, Doc McKinney, Illangelo, Ari PenSmith, P2J, Michael Angelo, Alan Sampson, Loxe, Marlon Roudette, Hue Strother, Steve Mostyn, and Future Cut.

Eric Hudson teases new collaboration with H.E.R.

Eric Hudson has teased a new collaboration with H.E.R.

“Me and @hermusicofficial made a classic tonight! I brought my bass with me …#backtowork #shesagenius #classicsonly,” the American record producer and songwriter posted to Instagram on Friday (July 19, 2019).

Hudson’s resume boasts works with Mariah Carey (“Infinity”), John Legend (“We Just Don’t Care”), Omarion (“Entourage”), Whitney Houston (“Worth It”), Trey Songz (“Without a Woman”), Brandy (“Bring it Back”), Justin Timberlake (“Morning Light”), Mary J. Blige (“Why”) and August Alsina (“Benediction”).

Meanwhile, H.E.R.’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “Racks” (which was co-written by fellow recording artist Tiara Thomas and collectively produced by Jeff Gitty, Ronald “Flippa” Colson and Ali P) – is expected to arrive later this year via RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further contributions from Andre Harris, Prgrshn, LunchMoney Lewis, MNEK, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Priscilla Renea, Stint, Hue Strother, D’Mile, Varren Wade, Ambre, Trey Campbell, Bryan Michael Cox, Stacy Barthe, Neff-U, Supa Dups, and The Stereotypes.

H.E.R. also provided guest vocals on the track “I Don’t Want Your Money,” taken from the Ed Sheeran’s latest studio collection, “No. 6 Collaborations Project,” which is out now via Atlantic Records. The track was written by Sheeran alongside Joe Reeves, Fred Gibson, and Paul “Nineteen85” Jefferies.
