Lennon Stella drafts Timbaland for new collaboration

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has drafted American record producer Timbaland for a new collaboration.

Timbaland recently produced “Filthy,” “Say Something,” “Young Man” and “Sauce,” taken from Justin Timberlake’s latest studio collection under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records, “Man of the Woods.”

Timbaland’s other credits include Aaliyah’s “Try Again,” Sam Smith’s “Pray,” Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater,” Rihanna’s “Rehab,” Demi Lovato’s “All Night Long,” Keri Hilson’s “Return the Favor,” Madonna’s “Miles Away,” Missy Elliot’s “Work It,” Beyonce’s “Partition,” and Chris Brown’s “Paper, Scissors, Rock.”

Meanwhile, Stella is expected to release her debut project later this year via Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS in partnership with Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional productions from Joel Little, Alex Hope, Robopop, Two Inch Punch, Jonny Lattimer, Stint, Pip Kembo, Tommy English, MNEK, Jesse Shatkin, Big Taste, Jason Evigan, Steve Mostyn, Alex Niceforo, Benny Cassette, and The Monsters & Strangerz.

Noah Cyrus hits the studio with Emily Weisband, Big Taste for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Noah Cyrus has teamed with Emily Weisband and Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt for a new collaboration.

Weisband recently co-wrote “Consequences” for Camila Cabello alongside Amy Wadge and Nicolle Galyon. The track appears on Cabello’s debut album “Camila,” which topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, Big Taste’s songwriting/production resume boasts works with Justin Bieber (“Company”), Madison Beer (“Home with You”), Dua Lipa (“Genesis”), Adam Lambert (“Two Fux”), Maty Noyes (“Falling Out of Love”), Jake Miller (“Superhuman”) and Phoebe Ryan (“Forgetting All About You”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cyrus’ upcoming debut album “NC-17” – featuring the Savan Kotecha-penned / Max Martin and Ali Payami-produced single “We Are Fucked” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS in partnership with Sony Music imprint Columbia Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly yields additional productions and songwriting contributions from Benny Cassette, Stint, Two Inch Punch, Sasha Sloan, Jonathan Rotem, Noonie Bao, Sam Romans, and Jenna Andrews.

Lennon Stella signs new deal with RECORDS / Columbia Records

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has signed a new deal with RECORDS/Columbia Records and will release her upcoming debut project later this year.

“Lennon’s unique artistry, point of view, distinctive vocal ability and star-power is simply overwhelming,” says Barry Weiss, Partner & Co-Founder, RECORDS. “We’re super excited to have her here at RECORDS. I’m elated that Jenna Andrews (who does A&R for the label) brought her to us.”

“I feel so lucky to work hand in hand with this incredible and inspiring group of people. There are no words to describe the feeling of finally being able to release my own music, something I have always dreamed of,” says Stella.

On the still-untitled collection, Stella has worked with songwriters including Amy Wadge, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Sarah Aarons, Trey Campbell, Sean Douglas, Max McElligott, Ali Tamposi, Chloe Angelides, Emily Warren, Fiona Bevan, Caitlyn Scarlett, Ella Henderson, Nate Cyphert, Parson James, Sam Fisher, Bipolar Sunshine, Elliphant, Ashlyn Wilson, and Jenna Andrews.

Kiah Victoria hits the studio with Stint for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Kiah Victoria has enlisted Canadian record producer Stint for a new collaboration.

Born Ajay Bhattacharyya, Stint recently co-produced and co-wrote “Tell Me You Love Me” for Demi Lovato alongside Kirby Lauryen and John Hill. The track appears on Lovato’s latest album of the same name, which peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Other artists Stint has worked with are Sabrina Claudio (“Unravel Me”), Banks (“In Your Eyes”), Zara Larsson (“Make That Money Girl”), AlunaGeorge (“Jealous”), Nao (“Girlfriend”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“LA Hallucinations”), Santigold (“Walking in a Circle”) and Tayla Parx (“Runaway”).

Meanwhile, Victoria is expected to release her next project – featuring the Fabienne Holloway-assisted / Fred Cox-produced “Treat Me” – later this year via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with Sacha Skarbek, Max McElligott, Philip Plested, Daniel “Grades” Traynor, Jeff Gitty, Cass Lowe, Bastian “Carassius Gold” Langebaek, and Zach Skelton.

As a songwriter, Victoria co-penned “Midnight” for Jessie Ware alongside Jordan Thomas, Andrew “Pop” Wansel and Bastian “Carassius Gold” Langebaek. The track appears on Ware’s third studio collection “Glasshouse,” which debuted at number seven on the UK Albums Chart.

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has drafted Ella Henderson, Two Inch Punch, and Max McElligott for a new collaboration.

In addition to prepping for the release of her own promotional single “Ugly,” Henderson has recently co-penned “Guilty” for fellow recording artist Paloma Faith alongside Wayne Hector and Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Thomas Barnes and Thomas “Froe” Barnes of UK songwriting/production trio TMS.

Meanwhile, McElligott (who also goes by Max Wolfgang) is known for co-writing Kygo’s “Never Let You Go,” Martin Garrix’s “Now That I’ve Found You,” Moxie Raia’s “Rudimental,” Tom Chaplin’s “Hardened Heart,” Kylie Minogue’s “Your Body,” and Ed Sheeran’s “Lay it All on Me.”

Having recently produced Jessie Ware’s “Hearts” and Dan Caplen’s “Two Fingers,” Two Inch Punch has also contributed to the next projects by Amber Mark, Jessie Reyez, Taya, Sabrina Claudio, Raye, Ella Eyre, Jorja Smith, Yebba Smith, Alma, Era Istrefi, Kamille, Noah Cyrus, Wens, Antigoni Buxton, Dakota, Janice Kavander, Grace Carter, and Mullally.

Canadian actress, singer, and songwriter Lennon Stella has teamed with Caitlyn Scarlett, Fiona Bevan, and MNEK for a new collaboration.

Having signed a publishing deal with BMG earlier this year, Scarlett’s current promotional single “Happy When” – which was co-written with Fred Cox and Jonny Lattimer – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Bevan recently co-wrote “Lonely with You” for Australian duo No Frills Twins alongside Richard “Biffco” Stannard. Her other credits include Alexandru’s “Sellotape,” Grace Davies’ “Too Young,” Mika’s “It’s My House,” Lights’ “Skydiving,” and Tom Walker’s “Heartland.”

In addition to working on his upcoming project under Digital Teddy / Virgin EMI Records, MNEK has also contributed to the next projects by Christina Aguilera, Zara Larsson, Mullally, Ella Henderson, Kara Marni, Chromeo, Mabel McVey, Tinashe, Ray BLK, and Mo Adeniran.

British singer/songwriter Sinead Harnett has teamed up with fellow recording artist Maths Time Joy for a new collaboration.

Born Timothy James Worthington, the record producer and songwriter’s resume boasts works with Mahalia (“Sober”), Bebe Rexha (“Gateway Drug”), Alayna (“High Off You”), Matt Woods (“Tongues”), Nefera (“I Dare You”), Joel Baker (“Extraordinary”) and Malika (“Put it on Me”).

Maths Time Joy’s current promotional single “Only You” – featuring guest vocals from JMR – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Harnett, who recently unveiled the music video for her new single “Unconditional,” is expected to release her next project early next year.
