HAIM draft Ariel Recthshaid, Rostam Batmanglij for new single “Little of Your Love”

American rock band HAIM – consisting of sisters Este Haim (bass), Danielle Haim (guitars and lead vocals), and Alana Haim (guitars and keyboards) – have released their new promotional single online.

“Little of Your Love” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by regular collaborator Ariel Rechtshaid, who is also responsible for Adele’s “When We Were Young,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “All That,” Kelela’s “Rewind,” Charli XCX’s “Stay Away,” Madonna’s “Living for Love,” Sky Ferreira’s “You’re Not the One,” and Usher’s “Climax.”

Production duties on “Little of Your Love” were collectively handled by Rechtshaid alongside Rostam Batmanglij, whose other credits include Solange’s “F.U.B.U.,” Frank Ocean’s “Ivy,” Santigold’s “Big Boss Big Time Business,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Warm Blood,” and Charli XCX’s “Need Ur Love.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, HAIM will release their upcoming sophomore album “Something to Tell You” – featuring previous promotional singles “Want You Back” and “Right Now” – will arrive on July 7th via Polydor Records (UK) and Columbia Records (US).

HAIM announce details for sophomore album

HAIM have announced the details for their sophomore album.

The American pop rock band – composed of sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim – christened their second studio collection “Something to Tell You” and will release it on July 7th via Columbia Records (US) and Polydor Records (UK).

Current promotional single “Want You Back” – which was collectively produced by Ariel Rechtshaid and BloodPop – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly boasts further contributions from Jesse Shatkin (Rihanna, Kylie Minogue), Rostam Batmanglij (Santigold, Charli XCX) and Justin Tranter (Tinashe, Britney Spears).

HAIM’s debut studio collection, 2013’s “Days Are Gone,” peaked to number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “If I Could Change Your Mind,” “My Song 5,” “The Wire” and “Don’t Save Me.”

Haim have unveiled the music video for their new single online.

“If I Could Change Your Mind” is lifted from the group’s debut album, “Days Are Gone,” out now via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The follow-up to “The Wire” was written by group members Este, Danielle and Alana Haim along with James Ford, who also worked with Arctic Monkeys [Domino Recording Group] and Florence Welch [Island Records].

Video treatment was handled by Warren Fu, whose credits include Depeche Mode’s “Soothe My Soul” [Columbia Records], Daft Punk’s “Lose Yourself to Dance” [Virgin Records] and The Killers’ “Just Another Girl” [Island Records].

Haim’s debut collection “Days Are Gone” was executively produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, who previously wrote material for Usher (“Climax”), Justin Bieber (“Thought of You”) and Sky Ferreira (“You’re Not the One”).

“The Wire” marks the fourth promotional single from the group’s upcoming debut album, “Days Are Gone,” which is due in the United Kingdom on September 30 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The track was produced by group members Este, Danielle and Alana Haim along with Ariel Rechtshaid, whose credits include “You’re No Good” by Major Lazer [Mad Decent Records], “Nuclear Seasons” by Charli XCX [Atlantic Records] and “Diane Young” by Vampire Weekend [XL Recordings].

The hit songwriter is known for crafting singles “Push and Shove” by No Doubt [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records], “Climax” by Usher [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Hanging On” by Ellie Goulding featuring Tinie Tempah [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records].

Meanwhile, the still-untitled project by HAIM – consisting of sisters Este, Danielle and Alana – is expected to boast further alliances with Rick Nowels (Dido Armstrong, Lana Del Rey), Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Leona Lewis, Adam Lambert), Greg Kurstin (Pixie Lott, Lily Allen), Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes (Solange Knowles, Florence Welch) and Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Janelle Monae).
