Alex and Sierra write new material with Ed Sheeran

Alex and Sierra have written new material with Ed Sheeran.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for another artist or a future release by the American pop duo.

Sheeran’s latest studio collection “X” – featuring hit singles “Sing,” “Bloodstream,” “Don’t,” “Photograph,” “Thinking Out Loud” and “Bloodstream” – is now available for download via Atlantic Records.

On the songwriting front, the “Lego House” star has penned songs for Jessie Ware (“Say You Love Me”), One Direction (“Little Things”), Rixton (“Hotel Ceiling”), Olly Murs (“Love Shine Down”) and Hilary Duff (“Tattoo”).

Sheeran’s resume includes other works with Rudimental (“Bloodstream”), Tori Kelly (“I Was Made for Loving You”), Christina Perri (“Be My Forever”), Taylor Swift (“Everything Has Changed”) and The Weeknd (“Dark Times”).

Meanwhile, Alex and Sierra are reportedly working on their upcoming sophomore album under Syco Music and Columbia Records.

The duo’s first studio collection, “All About Us,” peaked to number eight on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned the Martin Johnson-assisted “Scarecrow” and Toby Gad-produced “Little Do You Know.”

Alex & Sierra have debuted the music video for their new single online.

The American pop duo posted the visual clip for “Little Do You Know” to their official Vevo page on Monday (October 6, 2014).

“Little Do You Know” was co-written by Ruth-Anne Cunningham and Ali Tamposi, who collectively worked with artists including Britney Spears [RCA], Jojo [Atlantic], Demi Lovato [Hollywood] and Beyonce [Columbia].

Production duties on “Little Do You Know” were handled by Toby Gad, whose resume includes works for Madonna [Interscope], John Legend [Columbia], Alicia Keys [RCA], Nicole Scherzinger [Epic] and Jessie J [Republic].

Alex and Sierra’s first LP “It’s About Us” is now available for download via iTunes (US) in partnership with Syco Music / Columbia Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts further collaborations with John Shanks (Delta Goodrem, Leona Lewis), Lil Eddie (Usher, Tessanne Chin), Steve Mac (Shakira, Ella Henderson) and Claude Kelly (Tamia, Olly Murs).

Alex & Sierra have confirmed the details for their new single.

The pop duo – consisting of Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton – christened “Little Do You Know” as the second promotional cut from their debut album, “It’s About Us,” out on October 7 via Syco Music / Columbia Records.

The track was co-written by Ali Tamposi, whose credits include Kelly Clarkson’s “(Stronger) What Doesn’t Kill You” [RCA Records], Ciara’s “Overdose” [Epic Records] and Lea Michele’s “On My Way” [Columbia Records].

Production duties on “Little Do You Know” were handled by Toby Gad, who is also responsible for John Legend’s “All of Me” [Columbia Records] and One Direction’s “Truly, Madly, Deeply” [Syco Music].

“Little Do You Know” serves as the follow-up to previous single “Scarecrow,” which peaked at number twenty five on the US Singles Chart.

“Just Kids” is lifted from the pop duo’s upcoming debut album, “It’s About Us,” out on October 6 via Syco Music / Columbia Records.

The track – written by group members Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton along with Ali Tamposi, John Ryan and Sam Hollander – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“It’s About Us” is confirmed to yield additional productions and songwriting contributions from John Shanks, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Toby Gad, Lil’ Eddie, Julian Bunetta, Martin Johnson, Sam Watters, John Legend, and Harry Styles.

Alex and Sierra have revealed the artwork for their upcoming debut album.

The pop duo christened their debut collection “It’s About Us” and will release it later this year via Syco Music / Columbia Records.

Lead single “Scarecrow” – written by group members Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton along with Martin Johnson and Sam Hollander – is now available for download via iTunes (US).

“It’s About Us” is said to feature further songwriting contributions from Sam Watters (Zendaya, Keri Hilson), John Legend (Keyshia Cole, Laura Welsh) and Ruth-Anne Cunningham (Pixie Lott, Britney Spears).

On the production front, Alex and Sierra have teamed up with Toby Gad (Natasha Bedingfield, Candice Glover), John Shanks (Lea Michele, Christina Perri) and Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Fifth Harmony).
