Alex Newell delivers new single “Keep it Moving”

Alex Newell has delivered his new single online.

“Keep it Moving” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Brandyn Burnette along with Jin Jin (Raye, Little Mix), Peter Wallevik (Demi Lovato, Olly Murs), Daniel Davidsen (Fleur East, Jake Miller) and Mich “Cutfather” Hansen (Matoma, Becky Hill).

Newell’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous single “Need Somebody” – is expected to arrive in 2017 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Alex Newell premieres “Basically Over You” music video

Alex Newell has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The actor-singer posted the Derek Dunn-assisted visual clip for “Basically Over You” to his YouTube channel on Monday (March 28, 2016).

Production duties on “Basically Over You” were handled by MNEK, whose recent credits include Rudimental’s “We the Generation” [Asylum], Blonde’s “Feel Good (It’s Alright)” [Parlophone] and Karen Harding’s “Say Something” [Capitol].

The British hitmaker – real name Uzoechi Emenike – also contributed to the next projects by Zara Larsson [Epic], Jojo [Atlantic], Tamera Foster [Syco], Becky Hill [Parlophone] and KStewart [Warner Brothers].

Meanwhile, Newell’s debut mini-collection “Power” – featuring previous single “This Ain’t Over” – is now available for download via Big Beat Records.

Other EP contributors include Red Triangle (The Vamps, Charlie Puth), Tom Aspaul (Kylie Minogue, Little Mix), Digital Farm Animals (Izzy Bizu, Dua Lipa) and Andrew Jackson (Ben Haenow, John Legend).

Alex Newell drafts MNEK for new single “Basically Over You”

Alex Newell has confirmed the details for his new single.

The actor-singer-songwriter christened “Basically Over You” as the second promotional cut from his debut mini-collection, “Power.”

“Basically Over You” was written and produced by fellow recording artist MNEK, whose other credits include Madonna (“Hold Tight”), Kylie Minogue (“Feels So Good”), Naughty Boy (“Pardon Me”) and Gorgon City (“Here for You”).

Meanwhile, “Power” – featuring previous single “This Ain’t Over” – is now available for download via Big Beat Records.

Other EP contributors include Red Triangle (The Vamps, Ronan Keating), Tom Aspaul (AlunaGeorge, Little Mix), Digital Farm Animals (Rudimental, Dua Lipa) and Andrew Jackson (Ben Haenow, John Legend).

Fans of MNEK’s songwriting and production works, on the other hand, should look out for the next releases by Jojo, Melissa Steel, Tamera Foster, JONES, Zara Larsson, Karen Harding, Raye, Becky Hill, Anne-Marie, and KStewart.

Karen Harding premieres “Open My Eyes” music video

Karen Harding has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Open My Eyes” to her Vevo channel on Saturday (February 20, 2016).

“Open My Eyes” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by label mate Sophie “Frances” Cooke along with Josh Wilkinson (Olly Murs, Andreya Triana) and James Reynolds (Nina Nesbitt, Pixie Lott).

Harding’s first studio collection – featuring previous single “Say Something” – will be released later this year through Method Records and Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Bradford Ellis (Fleur East), Laura Dockrill (Jessie Ware), Knox Brown (Mary J. Blige), Chelcee Grimes (Dua Lipa) and Future Cut (Ella Eyre).

As a songwriter, Harding recently co-wrote “Shame” for Alex Newell along with fellow UK artist Tom Aspaul and George Tizzard and Rick Parkhouse of songwriting and production team Red Triangle.

Her other credits include Blonde’s “Feel Good (It’s Alright)” [Parlophone Records], Arches’ “New Love” [Relentless Records] and The Magician’s “Together” [Potion / Spinnin’ Records].

Alex Newell has revealed the details for his upcoming debut EP.

The actor-singer will release “Power” – featuring five new songs including “Shame,” “Basically Over You (B.O.Y),” “Devilish” and a cover of Sigma’s “Nobody to Love” – on February 19 through Big Beat Records.

Lead single “This Ain’t Over” – now available for download via iTunes and all other online outlets – was co-written by Andrew Jackson (Ben Haenow, John Legend) and produced by LDN Noise (Chris Brown, Nathan Sykes).

“Power” delivers additional alliances with MNEK (Rudimental), Diane Warren (Beyonce), Nile Rodgers (Madonna), Red Triangle (Cheryl), Karen Harding (Zak Abel), Digital Farm Animals (Dua Lipa), and Tom Aspaul (Little Mix).

Raye covers Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me”

Raye has shared a new cover video online.

The British singer-songwriter posted her rendition of Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me” to YouTube on Tuesday (February 16, 2016).

Raye’s upcoming major-label debut project – featuring the BloodPop-produced “Tell Me” – will be released later this year through Polydor Records.

Moreover, she collaborated with top songwriters and producers including Labrinth, Emeli Sande, Bless Beats, Jin Jin, Wayne Wilkins, Jimmy Napes, MNEK, Chris Loco, Arnthor Birgisson, and Knox Brown.

On the songwriting front, Raye co-penned “All Cried Out” for Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield of UK house production duo Blonde along with Cass Lowe and Lucas Secon. The Alex Newell-featuring track peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

“This Ain’t Over” marks the first promotional cut from the artist’s EP, “Power,” which will hit online outlets on February 19 through Big Beat Records.

Newell previously provided guest vocals for acts including Clean Bandit (“Stronger), The Knocks (“Collect My Love”), and Blonde (“All Cried Out”).

Alex Newell has worked with Cutfather for his upcoming debut album.

The Danish record producer and songwriter helmed “Up” for Olly Murs along with regular collaborators Maegan Cottone, Peter Wallevik and Daniel Davidsen. The Demi Lovato-assisted track peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

His extensive resume includes further works with Kylie Minogue (“Get Outta My Way”), Pixie Lott (“My Love”), Jake Miller (“First Flight Home”), The Saturdays (“If This is Love”) and Melanie C (“Think About It”).

He also contributed to the next projects by Daughtry [RCA], Fleur East [Syco Music], Clairity [Republic] and Conor Maynard [Parlophone].

Meanwhile, Newell is expected to release his first studio collection later this year through Warner Music Group imprint Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled LP features additional alliances with MNEK (Rudimental, Becky Hill), Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett (Jess Glynne, Little Mix), Lucas Secon (Trey Songz, Jordin Sparks) and Kate Stewart (Joel Compass, Oliver Heldens).

The American electronic music duo – composed of Benjamin “B-Roc” Ruttner and James “JPatt” Patterson – posted the visual clip for “Collect My Love” to their official YouTube channel on Thursday (August 27, 2015).

“Collect My Love” – boasting guest vocals from Alex Newell – was co-written by Interscope recording artist Rozzi Crane along with Autumn Rowe, whose other credits include Little Mix (“Red Plant”), Leona Lewis (“Collide”), Zendaya (“Only When You’re Close”) and Kylie Minogue (“Sexy Love”).

Blonde have announced the title for their new single.

The British deep house production duo – consisting of Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield – christened “Feel Good” as the next promotional cut from their upcoming debut album under Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

“Feel Good” features vocals from singer/songwriter Karen Harding, whose debut single “Say Something” peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart.

Blonde previously collaborated with recording artists Melissa Steel and Alex Newell on hit singles “I Loved You” and “All Cried Out” respectively.

Furthermore, their first studio collection boasts additional alliances with Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit, Years & Years), Lucas Secon (Cheryl, Trey Songz), Cass Lowe (Tinashe, Shola Ama) and Lyrica Anderson (Beyonce, Demi Lovato).
