Stooshe premiere music video for new single ‘My Man Music’

Stooshe have premiered the music video for their new single online.
“My Man Music” is taken from the British trio’s debut album, “London with the Lights On,” which is now available via Warner Music Group / Future Cut Recordings / Warner Bros. Records.

The track was written by Joanna “Jo” Perry, Diana Barrand, Alexandra Buggs and Courtney Rumbold along with Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut, who are also responsible for singles “How Ya Doing?” by Little Mix [Columbia Records] and “Army of Two” by Olly Murs [Epic Records].

Other contributors on “London with the Lights On” include Andrea Martin (Cheryl Cole, Jennifer Hudson), Lindy Robbins (Jordin Sparks, Nicole Scherzinger), Ed Drewett (The Wanted, Dionne Bromfield), Shaznay Lewis (All Saints, Mutya Keisha Siobhan) and Chris Braide (Lana Del Rey, Diane Vickers).

Previous releases – “Love Me,” “Black Heart” and “Slip” – have charted in the UK Singles Chart at numbers (5), (3) and (12) respectively.

Stooshe have confirmed the official tracking and songwriting credits for their upcoming debut album, “London with the Lights On,” which is due on May 27 via Warner Music Group / Future Cut Recordings / Warner Bros. Records.

The highly-anticipated project – previously entitled “Swings and Roundabouts” – was executively produced by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of British songwriting and production duo Future Cut, whose credits include artists such as Lily Rose Cooper [Parlophone Records], Melanie Fiona [Republic Records], Pixie Lott [Mercury Records] and Nicole Scherzinger [Interscope Records].

In addition to lead singles “Black Heart” and “Slip,” the project will boast songwriting contributions from Joanna “Jo” Perry, Mo Brandis, Andrea Martin, Inara George, Ed Drewett, Shaznay Lewis, Lindy Robbins and Chris Braide.

Stooshe have unveiled the official artwork for their upcoming debut album.

The British trio – which consists of members Alexandra Buggs, Karis Anderson and Courtney Rumbold – will release “London with the Lights On” in the United Kingdom on May 27 via Warner Music Group / Future Cut Recordings / Warner Bros. Records.

Lead single “Slip” was written by Joanna “Jo” Perry, Mo Brandis along Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola, who are also responsible for hits such as “How Ya Doing?” by Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records], “Bajan Style” by Cover Drive [Polydor Records] and “Ay Yo” by Melanie Fiona [Republic Records].

The British girl band – consisting of members Alexandra Buggs, Karis Anderson and Courtney Rumbold – will release the highly-anticipated project in the United Kingdom on May 27 via Warner Music Group / Future Cut Recordings.

New single “Slip” – available to download on iTunes from May 13 – was co-written by Mo Brandis, Joanna “Jo” Perry, Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola. Meanwhile, production duties were handled by Future Cut.

Stooshe have debuted a new lyric video online.

“Hoochi Mumma” will be included on the British R&B group’s upcoming self-titled album, which will be released in the United Kingdom on March 2013 via Warner Music Group / Future Cut Recordings.

The track was co-written by Stooshe’s manager Joanna “Jo” Perry along with Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut, who are also responsible for “Army of Two” by Olly Murs [Sony Music Entertainment / Syco Music / Epic Records], “Age” by Lianne La Havas [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records] and “Case Closed” by Little Mix [Simco Limited / Sony Music Entertainment].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Stooshe is confirmed to boast further collaborations with Chris Braide (Lana Del Rey, Sia Furler), Andrea Martin (Leona Lewis, Rebecca Ferguson), Lindy Robbins (Jason Derulo, Toni Braxton), Shaznay Lewis (All Saints, Mutya Keisha Siobhan), Ed Drewett (The Wanted, Dionne Bromfield) and Inara George (Jason Mraz, The Bird and The Bee).

Stooshe delay release date for debut album until March 2013

Stooshe have delayed the release of their upcoming debut album.

Originally scheduled for release on November 26, the self-titled project will now hit the stores in the United Kingdom on March 4, 2013 via Warner Music Group / Future Cut Recordings.

A statement said: “Following a late rush of creativity which has seen them write some of the best songs of their career, Stooshe have decided to delay the release of their debut album until March 2013 so they have time to record these songs for inclusion on the album. The trio are eager to ensure that the album lives up to its full potential and this extra time will allow Stooshe to make the final product as perfect as it can be.”

Stooshe added: “We finished the songs for this album a couple of months ago, but we’ve recently written a couple of new songs which we think are too good to leave off. We’ll be going back into the studio soon to record them. We’re sorry to everyone who wanted the album in time for Christmas, but we promise that it’ll be worth the wait when it comes!”

Stooshe’s new single “Waterfalls” was produced by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut, who are also responsible for hits including “Smile” by Lily Allen [EMI Music Group / Parlophone Records], “Please Don’t Let Me Go” by Olly Murs [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records] and “Age” by Lianne La Havas [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records].
