AlunaGeorge enlist Digital Farm Animals for new collaboration

British electronic music duo AlunaGeorge – composed of Aluna Francis and George Reid – have enlisted Digital Farm Animals for a new collaboration.

The DJ, record producer, songwriter, and remixer – born Nicholas Gale – is known for his works with Dua Lipa (“Be the One”), Louis Tomlinson (“Back to You”), Noah Cyrus (“Stay Together”), Rita Ora (“Anywhere”), Rudimental (“All That Love”), Jones (“Wild”) and Alex Newell (“Devilish”).

Fans of Digital Farm Animals’ works should also keep an eye on the next projects by Zara Larsson, Louisa Johnson, Alma, John Newman, Chromeo, Era Istrefi, Grace Carter, Liam Payne, James Arthur, Conrad Sewell, Jojo, Astrid S, Kat Dahlia, L Devine, and Annika Rose.

Meanwhile, AlunaGeorge are expected to release their upcoming third album later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “I Remember” reportedly delivers further productions and songwriting contributions from Rodney Jerkins (Stanaj, Kandace Springs), Dayo “Dyo” Olatunji (Mack Wilds, Ray BLK), Paul E. Phamous (Dinah Jane, Noah Cyrus) and Alex Salibian (Mikky Ekko, Harry Styles).

Digital Farm Animals releases new promotional single “Say My Name”

British record producer and songwriter Nicholas Gale, professionally known as Digital Farm Animals, has released his new promotional single online.

“Say My Name” – which features Swedish singer/songwriter Iman – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by George Reid of AlunaGeorge, whose other credits include Taya’s “Sweet Waste of Time,” Raleigh Ritchie’s “A Moor,” Nao’s “Golden,” and Off Bloom’s “Shut Up and Let Me Walk.”

Fans of Digital Farm Animals’ production works should keep an eye on the next projects by Louisa Johnson, Rita Ora, Alma, John Newman, Chromeo, Era Istrefi, Grace Carter, Liam Payne, Anne-Marie, James Arthur, Conrad Sewell, Jojo, Astrid S, Kat Dahlia, L Devine, and Annika Rose.

His upcoming project – featuring promotional singles “Tokyo Nights,” “Digital Love” and “Wanna Know” – is expected to arrive later this year via Tim & Danny Music in partnership with Simco Limited.

AlunaGeorge enlists Rodney Jerkins for new collaboration

British electronic music duo AlunaGeorge, composed of Aluna Francis and George Reid, have enlisted Rodney Jerkins for a new collaboration.

Jerkins recently produced and co-wrote “Woman of My Word” for American recording artist K. Michelle alongside Carmen Reece, Justin “King Midas” Lay, and David “Davy” Nathan. The track appears on K. Michelle’s latest album, “Kimberley: The People I Used to Know,” out now via Atlantic Records.

Some of Jerkins’ other notable credits include Mariah Carey’s “You’re Mine (Eternal),” Tamar Braxton’s “Blind,” Alicia Keys’ “Listen to Your Heart,” Britney Spears’ “He About to Lose Me,” Mary J. Blige’s “Doubt,” Ciara’s “Ready My Lips,” Leona Lewis’ “Shake You Up,” and Maroon 5’s “My Heart is Open.”

Meanwhile, AlunaGeorge are expected to release their upcoming third album – featuring current singles “Last Kiss” and “Turn Up the Love” – is expected to arrive later this year via Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

Their previous studio collection, 2016’s “I Remember,” peaked to number six on the US Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and spawned singles “I’m in Control,” “I Remember,” “Mean What I Mean” and “Mediator.”

JONES enlists George Reid of AlunaGeorge for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Cherie Jones-Mattis, known mononymously as JONES, has enlisted George Reid of AlunaGeorge for a new collaboration.

Reid’s songwriting and production resume boasts works with Taya (“Sweet Waste of Time”), Raleigh Ritchie (“A Moor”), Charlotte OC (“Meet Again”), Molly Rainford (“Bad Friend”) and NAO (“Talking Drum”).

Among the fellow songwriters Reid has worked with are Cathy Dennis, Karen Poole, Fiona Bevan, Dee Adams, Cleo Tighe, Bryn Christopher, Chiara Hunter, Andrew “BullySongs” Bullimore, Caroline Ailin, and Glen Roberts.

Meanwhile, JONES is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album and follow-up to 2016’s “New Skin” some time next year via 37 Adventures.

Current promotional single “Something Bout Our Love” – which was co-written by Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers and Mark “TIEKS” Tieku – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

For her second studio collection, JONES has also teamed up with Invisible Men, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Sky Adams, Danny Shah, Lostboy, Arnthor Birgisson, Wayne Hector, Lauren Aquilina, Tom Havelock, Laconic, Max McElligott, Starsmith, Ollie Green, Rachel Furner, Martin Sjolie, and Laura Dockrill.

AlunaGeorge release new promotional singles “Turn Up the Love” and “Last Kiss”

British electronic music duo AlunaGeorge – composed of Aluna Francis and George Reid – has released two promotional singles online.

“Turn Up the Love” and “Last Kiss” are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Both tracks were produced by George Reid and mixed by Daniel “Utters” Radclyffe, whose resume boasts further works with All Saints (“One Woman Man”), Maverick Sabre (“I Need”), Chronixx (“I Know Love”), Raleigh Ritchie (“In Too Deep”), Foxes (“Beauty Queen”), Ella Eyre (“Home”), Selah Sue (“Feel”) and Purple Ferdinand (“Through Your Eyes”).

AlunaGeorge’s upcoming third album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

The still-untitled collection follows 2016’s “I Remember,” which delivered contributions from Sam Romans (“I’m in Control”), Charli XCX (“Jealous”), Tom Aspaul (“Mediator”), Cathy Dennis (“Heartbreak Horizon”), Kid Harpoon (“Wanderlust”) and MNDR (“Mean What I Mean”).

AlunaGeorge have unleashed a new song online.

The British electronic music duo posted the audio clip for “Mediator” to their Vevo channel on Thursday (September 01, 2016).

“Mediator” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by group members Aluna Francis and George Reid along with Tom Aspaul, who also worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue (“Feels So Good”), Alex Newell (“Shame”), and Karen Harding (“Those Girls”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, AlunaGeorge’s upcoming album “I Remember” – featuring singles “I’m in Control” and “Mean What I Mean” – is scheduled to arrive on September 16 via Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

AlunaGeorge have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The British electronic music duo posted the visual clip for “Mean What I Mean” – featuring Leikeli47 and Dreezy – to their Vevo channel on Wednesday (July 27, 2016).

“Mean What I Mean” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by group members Aluna Francis and George Reid along with Amanda “MNDR” Warner (Kylie Minogue, Sean Paul), Harold Lily (Christina Milian, Toni Braxton) and Dan “Utters” Radclyffe (Sinead Harnett, Ella Eyre).

As mentioned in earlier posts, AlunaGeorge’s upcoming sophomore album “I Remember” – featuring lead single “I’m in Control” – is scheduled to arrive on September 16 via Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).
