Alyxx Dione unveils artwork for new single “Energy”

Alyxx Dione has unveiled the artwork for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter – real name Alexandria Smith – christened “Energy” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming debut album.

“Energy” follows previous promotional cut “Chingalinga,” which features vocals from fellow recording artist Jason Derulo.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dione’s first studio collection will be released later this year through Future History Records and RCA Records.

Album contributors include Shea Taylor (Beyonce, Janet Jackson), Dem Jointz (Rihanna, Christina Aguilera), Jonas Jeberg (Cassie, Nicki Minaj), Sean Douglas (Madonna, Nick Jonas) and Jason Evigan (Zendaya, Kelly Clarkson).

Alyxx Dione teams up with Shea Taylor for debut album

Alyxx Dione has teamed up with record producer and songwriter Shea Taylor for her upcoming debut album.

Taylor is known for his work with Ne-Yo (“Lazy Love”), Beyonce (“Love on Top”), Bridget Kelly (“Thinking About Forever”), Janet Jackson (“Discipline”), Paula DeAnda (“When it Was Me”) and Nicole Scherzinger (“Happily Never After”).

His resume includes further works with Rihanna [Roc Nation], Frank Ocean [Def Jam], Chrisette Michele [Capitol], K. Michelle [Atlantic], Chris Brown [RCA], Sia [Monkey Puzzle], Daley [Republic] and Rita Ora [Columbia].

Meanwhile, Dione is expected to release her first studio collection later this year through RCA Records in partnership with Future History Records.

Lead single “Chingalinga” – now available for download via iTunes – features vocals from singer/songwriter Jason Derulo.

Other musicians backing Dione on the still-untitled project are Jonas Jeberg (Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony), Sean Douglas (Madonna, Nick Jonas), Jason Evigan (Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato) and Dem Jointz (Brandy, Sevyn Streeter).

Alyxx Dione unleashes “Chingalinga” music video

Alyxx Dione has unleased the music video for her new single online.

The singer and songwriter posted the visual clip for “Chingalinga” – featuring Jason Derulo – to her Vevo channel on Monday (May 18, 2015).

“Chingalinga” was co-written by Sean Douglas and Jason Evigan, who are also responsible for David Guetta’s “What I Did for Love” [Parlophone], Madonna’s “Ghosttown” [Interscope] and Demi Lovato’s “Heart Attack” [Hollywood].

Production duties on “Chingalinga” were handled by Jonas Jeberg, whose other credits include Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer” [Epic], Jordin Sparks’ “Double Tap” [Larger Than Life] and Jessie J’s “Said Too Much” [Republic].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dione’s upcoming project will hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Jason Derulo’s label Future History Records and Sony Music Entertainment imprint RCA Records.

Jason Derulo debuts new song “Cheyenne”

Jason Derulo has debuted a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Cheyenne” to his official YouTube channel on Tuesday (April 28, 2015).

“Cheyenne” is lifted from the artist’s fourth studio album, “Everything is 4,” out on June 2 under Beluga Heights / Warner Bros Records.

The highly-anticipated collection serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Talk Dirty,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Wiggle,” “Marry Me” and “Stupid Love.”

Among the musicians backing Derulo on “Everything is 4” are Jason Evigan (Madonna, Kelly Clarkson), Sean Douglas (David Guetta, Jessie J), DJ Mustard (Rihanna, Charli XCX) and Guordan Banks (K. Michelle, John Legend).

Furthermore, Derulo will serve as the executive producer for Alyxx Dione’s upcoming debut project under Future History Records and RCA Records. Her current single “Chingalinga” is now available for download via iTunes.

Jason Derulo has announced the details for his upcoming fourth album.

The singer/songwriter christened his next studio collection “Everything is 4” and will release it on June 2 under Beluga Heights and Warner Bros. Records.

Lead single “Want to Want Me” – which was produced by Ian Kirkpatrick and written by Derulo along with Lindy Robbins, Mitch Allan and Sam Martin – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Everything is 4” serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Talk Dirty,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned international hit singles “Wiggle,” “Trumpets,” “Marry Me” and “The Other Side.”

On the production front, the keenly-awaited CD boasts alliances with Motesart (Sia, Celine Dion), DJ Mustard (Omarion, Chris Brown), Warren “Oak” Felder (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) and Steve Mostyn (Brandy, Jessie Ware).

Album songwriters are Taylor Parks (Elle Varner, Tori Kelly), Guordan Banks (K. Michelle, John Legend), Ross Golan (Flo Rida, Prince Royce), Marlon Bonds (Kelly Rowland, Enrique Iglesias) and Talay Riley (Jessie J, Keri Hilson).

In related news, Derulo recently co-wrote “Chingalinga” for newcomer Alyxx Dionne along with Sean Douglas, Jason Evigan and Jonas Jeberg. The track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with RCA Records and Derulo’s newly-launched label Future History Records.

The singer/songwriter posted the lyrical clip for “Chingalinga” – featuring Jason Derulo – to her Vevo channel on Monday (April 06, 2015).

“Chingalinga” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Derulo along with Sean Douglas (Madonna, Demi Lovato), Jason Evigan (Zendaya, Kelly Clarkson) and Jonas Jeberg (Chris Brown, Jordin Sparks).

The track marks the first promotional cut from Dione’s upcoming project under RCA Records and Future History Records, which was helmed by Derulo and his longtime manager and business partner Frank Harris.

Meanwhile, Derulo’s fourth studio collection and follow-up to 2014’s “Talk Dirty” will be released later this year via Warner Bros. Records. The keenly-awaited album is preceded by lead single “Want to Want Me.”
