Sugababes record new music with Dan Caplen, Aston Rudi

British female group Sugababes (composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhan Donaghey) have recorded new music with Dan Caplen and Aston Rudi.

Besides working on his upcoming debut album under Atlantic Records UK, Caplen recently co-wrote “All That I Am” for former Girl Aloud member Nadine Coyle and provided guest vocals on Lily Moore’s 2019 single “Undo.”

Meanwhile, Rudi’s production resume boasts works with Tamera (“Don’t Phone”), Awa (“Like I Do”), Mahalia (“Do Not Disturb”), Hamzaa (“Saving Grace”), Jaz Karis (“Petty Lover”), Sophie Faith (“Bad Blood”), Elli Ingram (“Table for Two”), Ray BLK (“5050”) and Jordan Stephens (“Thunder”).

Sugababes are expected to release their upcoming project – featuring additional contributions from MNEK, KABBA, and Karen Poole – later this year to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut studio album, “One Touch,” which spawned singles “Overload,” “Run for Cover,” “New Year” and “Soul Sound.”

Sugababes reunite with Karen Poole for new collaboration

British girl group Sugababes (composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhan Donaghey) have reunited with Karen Poole for a new collaboration.

Poole previously teamed up with Sugababes on singles “Caught in a Moment” (UK #8) and “Follow Me Home” (UK #32), taken from the albums “Three” (2003) and “Taller in More Ways” (2005), respectively.

Poole’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Kylie Minogue’s “Red Blooded Woman,” Janet Jackson’s “Put Your Hands On,” Arlissa’s “Touch,” Nina Sky’s “Get Your Clothes Off,” Jamelia’s “Beware of the Dog,” Moko’s “Your Love,” and Jessica Mauboy’s “Let Me Be Me.”

Meanwhile, Sugababes are expected to release their upcoming project – featuring additional songwriting contributions from MNEK and KABBA – later this year via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

The trio recently covered UK garage duo Sweet Female Attitude’s 2000 hit single “Flowers” for DJ Spoony’s compilation album, “Garage Classics,” which peaked to number forty-eight on the UK Albums Chart.

Sugababes enlist MNEK, KABBA for new collaboration

British girl group Sugababes (composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhan Donaghy) have enlisted MNEK and KABBA for a new collaboration.

Besides co-writing Neon Jungle’s “Future X Girl” and Ryan Ashley’s “Familiar,” Kabba’s latest promotional single “My Work is Done” is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

Meanwhile, MNEK previously teamed up with the Sugababes on “Drum,” which was intended for their shelved comeback album under Polydor Records. MNEK has also contributed to the next projects by Dua Lipa, Zara Larsson, Kara Marni, Hamzaa, Lennon Stella, Ella Eyre, Samantha Mumba, and H.E.R.

Samsaya premieres music video for new single ‘Stereotype’

Samsaya has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Stereotype” – available now for download via iTunes Norway – is lifted from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming studio album.

The track was written by Samsaya and A*M*E along with Iain “Sparx” James, whose credits include “Wings” by Little Mix [Columbia Records] and “Read All About It” by Professor Green featuring Emeli Sande [Virgin Records].

Production duties were handled by Fred Ball, who is also responsible for “Catching Snowflakes” by Pixie Lott featuring Jason Derulo [Mercury Records] and “The Last Song” by JLS [Epic Records].

A*M*E records new material with Fred Jerkins for debut album

A*M*E has recently recorded new material with Fred Jerkins for her upcoming debut album, out soon via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The hit songwriter and producer – also known as Uncle Freddie – is responsible for singles such as “Say My Name” by Destiny’s Child [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records], “Imagine” by Shola Ama [Warner Music Group / Warner Bros. Records] and “Lullaby” by Melanie B [EMI Music Group / Virgin Records].

He has also collaborated with the likes of Whitney Houston [Arista Records], Michael Jackson [Epic Records], Brandy [RCA Records], Mary J. Blige [Matriarch / Geffen Records], Brian McKnight [Motown Records], TLC [Epic Records], Spice Girls [Virgin Records] and Monica [RCA Records].

In addition to Fred Jerkins, the still-untitled collection by A*M*E – born Aminata Kabba – is confirmed to boast further productions from Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike (Charli XCX, The Saturdays), Shahid “Naughty Boy” Khan (Ella Eyre, Sam Smith) and Lucas Secon (Toni Braxton, Christina Aguilera).

A*M*E hits the studio with Autumn Rowe for debut album

A*M*E has recruited the songwriting services of Autumn Rowe for her upcoming debut album, out soon on Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Rowe is responsible for co-writing tracks including “Collide” by Leona Lewis [Simco Limited / Sony Music Entertainment] and “Red Planet” by Little Mix [Sony Music Entertainment / Syco Music / Columbia Records].

She also contributed to the next albums by Jermaine Paul [Universal Music Group / Republic Records], Fifth Harmony [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records], Sabi [Warner Music Group / Kemosabe Records] and Dionne Bromfield [Universal Music Group / Island Records].

Meanwhile, the still-untitled project by A*M*E – real name Aminata Kabba – is expected to boast further songwriting alliances with Emeli Sande (Alesha Dixon, Fantasia Barrino), Iain “Sparx” James (Craig David, Nicola Roberts) and Erika Nuri (Alexandra Burke, Christina Milian).

A*M*E is scheduled to collaborate with Erika Nuri for her upcoming debut album on Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Nuri is responsible for co-writing singles including “Wings” by Little Mix [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records] and “When I See You” by Fantasia Barrino [Sony Music Entertainment / J Records].

She also collaborated with A-list musicians including Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Nadir “RedOne” Khayat, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, Nathaniel “Danja” Hills, Peter Kelleher, Ben Kohn, Thomas Barnes, Kevin “Dirty Swift” Risto and Waynne “Bruce Waynne” Nugent.

Meanwhile, A*M*E – real name Aminata “Amy” Kabba – was recently featured on Duke Dumont’s hit single “Need U (100%),” which is on course to top the UK official singles chart this Sunday. The track was co-written by MNEK, who previously teamed up with the A*M*E on “Ride or Die” and “City Lights.”

Her upcoming single “Heartless” was produced by Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub, whose credits include “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records] and “Starships” by Nicki Minaj [Universal Music Group / Young Money / Cash Money / Republic Records].
